Exercise is an important habit that supports overall well-being. It strengthens the body, sharpens the mind, and improves daily bodily functions. Physically, regular activity improves heart health, enhance blood circulation, and reduces the risk of major diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and other heart conditions.It also help maintain a healthy weight, increase muscle strength, and fortifies bones, thereby reducing the risk of osteoporosis, that is bone loss and general body weakness. In addition, exercise improves immunity, enabling the body to fight infection more effectively.
Mentally and emotionally, exercise serves as a natural mood booster because it stimulates the release of endorphins, that is, chemical that reduce stress, and promote a sense of happiness. It helps relieve anxiety, improve mental focus, enhance memory, and support clearer thinking.
Regular physical activity also promote better sleep, leaving you refreshed and more productive.
Exercise further increases energy levels, improves stamina, and makes everyday task easier. It builds confidence, encourages discipline, and enhances resilience. Individuals who exercise regularly are better equipped to cope with pressure and life's challenges.

In summary, exercise is a simple, yet powerful tool for achieving a balanced, healthy and fulfilling life. Some minimal daily exercises you can practice or undertake include walking, stretching, squatting, jogging, jumping jacks, arm circling, light dancing, leg raising, practicing deep breathing,, weight lifting, and engaging in household chores, among others. However, ensure that the exercise you engage in are suitable for your age, and physical condition, as you make this a consistent habit this year.
