The Diarygame : Yesterday I realized that true happiness does not lie in decorations, but in the moments spent with loved ones.
Hello #steemit team,
This is @alfazmalek from #India,
Yesterday was a different day with different vibes not as usual. There was the fragrance of festival in the air since morning. As soon as we reached the hospital there was a light smile on everyone's faces. It is the festive season, so everyone was thinking about decorations and puja. We thought why not make the entire hospital a little colorful this time. Gradually all the staff gathered - some took out lamps, some garlanded flowers, and some helped in installing the lights. Within a short time the entire hospital lit up.
The puja was held before noon. We all together prayed to God that our patients get well soon and there is peace in everyone's life. When the lamps were lit it seemed as if light had descended on every corner. The peace I was feel at that moment is difficult to express in words. The hospital which usually echoes with the sounds of machines today seemed as quiet as a temple.

When I had some free time in the afternoon I thought of going out for a walk. Two friends were with us, so we went towards a nearby pond. The weather had become slightly cool, there was moisture in the air and the sky was slightly covered with clouds. The water of the pond was completely calm – only occasionally waves would form when the wind blew. All three of us just sat there on the shore, without any hurry. Sometimes talking about a patient, sometimes talking about my college days – time passed like this. Even in the middle of the city that place seemed like a different world.
The sun was starting to set so we left from there and went to one of my friend's houses. His house is in a tall building and from the balcony there is a clear view of the entire city and the sky. By the time we reached the sun was just over the edge. Pink and orange colors had spread in the sky. The lights of the city below had started to light up and there was a beautiful sight in the sky above. All three of us just sat in silence with cups of tea. There are some moments in which it is not necessary to say anything – just feeling is enough.
I stayed there till night. She had decorated her house with great love – pink lights, small decorative chandeliers on the walls and scented candles. The whole atmosphere seemed like a festival night. We had dinner together and continued talking till late night. Every now and then, when I looked out of the window, I saw lights twinkling in the entire city below – as if someone or the other was happy in every house.
The fatigue of the day disappeared in that environment. The peace of the puja, the tranquility of the pond, and the pink light of the evening – everything settled in my mind. Festivals are really not just about lights and decorations, but the feeling when we stop, smile and connect with the people around us. Yesterday was the same day – ordinary yet very special.
THANK YOU
