Uttara North Metro Rail Station, Dhaka

Hello Steemian, today I am here to participate in this Steemit Challenge Season 28 Week3 - Transport station Atlas Contest organized by @miftahulrizky & @solaymann. I will now review a public transport station.

The most important project among the developmental works of our Bangladesh is the Metro Rail Project. This Metro Rail has been connected to different parts of Dhaka city of Bangladesh. Metro railway stations have been built especially in the main spots of Dhaka. So that the people of the city can do important work everywhere. Among them, the first station when the metro comes is Uttara Uttar Metro Railway Station. I went there, so I will review it for you.

I was standing at the main metro rail point for the train. All its decorations are the same. If you want to see the outside view, the outlook will give a nice modern metro rail station. Uttara North is given in front of the station so that the name of the station can be easily understood.

Now there are many sectors inside after climbing the stairs. If you enter from the outside, you can see the emergency exit gate from inside. You can't get out without it. So this is the entrance and exit of every metro rail station.

After entering I have to purchase the ticket from the ticket counter as per the schedule of the train. You can purchase two types of tickets here. Firstly a single ride ticket. Means this ticket can be used only once. Secondly, a rapid pass or a ticket for a trip. It means you can travel many times by recharging it. Since I will go to Shahbagh from Uttara Uttara, I bought a single journey ticket.

Here you can buy tickets from the counter people. Or you can buy tickets from the robotic automatic ticket machine. I will buy tickets automatically, so I set my destination from the display. Then I selected the ticket number. Then I entered the specified amount into the machine. Here, large amount notes are prohibited, such as 500, 1000. If you have paid more than the specified price, you will get the remaining money back.

Then I got the ticket for the train I wanted to go to. It is a ticket similar to a Master Card or Visa card. This card has Dhaka Metro Rail written on it and a picture of a Metro Rail. Single journey ticket is clearly written on the top right. There are several rules and code numbers on the back. After entering the station, when I go out, if I touch it on the automatic machine, the door will automatically open through which I can go out.

Since I had purchased a metro rail ticket for Shahbagh, I reached Shahbagh within a short time. After reaching Shahbagh, I set my exit point. But before that, I saw a notice board where my location was set. There is a location where I am. So now you have to use an escalator to go out or in.

Since I have finished all my work here, I bought a ticket again to go to Uttara North. You can use the elevator or escalator to go up from inside. There is a large LED display under the platform where the rules and schedules of the metro are always mentioned. The interior decoration is very clean and well-lit. I was waiting for the train at Shahbagh Metro Rail Station.

Every five minutes, the metro train arrives at any station. So we were standing there, and there was an automatic door in front of me. There was a notice board on this door that said, "Do not stand near the door." There is also a big sound box or speaker above your head that constantly says, "Do not stand near the door." Then, when the train arrived at the scheduled time, I got on the train and grabbed the handle to stand.

The earlier you get on the train, the sooner you get a seat. The view from above was great. If you look at the top of the train, there is an LED display and the location is set. It says what the next station will be. You can tell which station it is by looking at that text. The next station is written serially with the time.

Smoking and eating of any kind is prohibited inside the train, but you can drink water. Then I got off the train at the station at the specified destination. When you get off the train, you will see a dustbin in front of you where you can throw your unused garbage. Then if you want to go outside, you have to go down the escalator. There is a signboard of the escalator in front which will be very convenient for you to understand.

Below each metro rail station you will find auto rickshaws and buses from where you can reach your further destinations. If you ever feel like spending some time standing at this metro rail station, you can stay here as long as you like. To get out, you have to use the stairs which have the word "exit" written on them.

So I slowly descended the stairs from there and returned to my destination. So this is how you can go from any metro railway station to another metro railway station. I have mentioned all the processes step by step so that you can understand easily.
