Homemade Tomato and Basil Ketchup

How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today, I have come to participate in the second week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S27/W2, organized by the Honorable teacher @afzalqamar . He has brought us a delicious Tomato Ketchup, whose name is "Homemade Tomato and Basil Ketchup". I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

Create a list of all the ingredients used in making herbal basil tomato ketchup, including their exact quantities. Herbal basil tomato ketchup is a delicious and nutritious ketchup. It can be easily made at home. I am going to make the ketchup with a few ingredients. Now I am going to present the ingredients for making my Homemade Tomato and Basil Ketchup.

Now I am going to make a delicious ketchup with the help of basil leaves, tomatoes, and other ingredients. I am going to make this ketchup according to the instructions of our respected teacher, @afzalqamar sir.
🍅Step:-01:-
- First, I collect all the ingredients for ketchup preparation.
- Then, I take the tomatoes and wash them with clean water. Now I drain the water from the tomatoes,
- Then I cut them into small pieces and put them in a bowl.
- Again, I put a pan on the stove and put the tomatoes in it. Then I add half a cup of water,

- Now I put the stove on medium heat and cover the pan with a lid.

- I keep the tomatoes in the stove for about 10 minutes. During this time, the tomatoes are completely cooked.
- Then I take the pan off the stove and let it cool.

- Now I put the cooked tomatoes in a blender. And blend them well.

- Again, I strain the blended tomatoes using a strainer. This will make the tomato seeds and skins easily separate.

🍅Step:-06:-
- Now, I pour the strained tomato mixture into a clean bowl.
- Now, I put a clean pan on the stove, add two tablespoons of olive oil there.
- When the olive oil is hot, I add three cloves and two cinnamon sticks.

🍅Step:-07:-
- Fry the cloves and cinnamon sticks in hot oil and add the strained tomato mixture on top.
- Now, I add salt, pepper, and chili powder to the tomato mixture.

- Again, I chop 100 grams of sugarcane jaggery into small pieces and add it to the tomato mixture.

- At this stage of preparing the recipe, I take half a cup of apple cider vinegar in a bowl. Then I add it to the tomato mixture.

- Now I chop the previously washed basil leaves and put them in a pan. At the same time, I cover it well with a lid and turn off the stove. The basil leaves will be cooked in the steam of the pan, and by doing this, I hope to get the desired benefits from the ketchup.

- I take the ketchup off the stove and let it cool down, then I grind it well with the help of a strainer and put it in a bowl.

- Now I present the ketchup with four basil leaves.

In this stage of the Steemit challenge, I am going to present the final picture of the fun ketchup I made. The success of any item depends on the presentation. I tried my best to make my ketchup look like the respected teacher @afzalqamar sir. Now I present the final presentation of that effort below.

🍅Tomatoes:-
- Tomato is a healthy ingredient. This food, rich in vitamin C, offers numerous health benefits. I am going to describe some of the qualities of tomatoes. For example-
- Tomato is a nutrient-rich ingredient. It contains vitamins A, C, K, and B9 (folate) and minerals like potassium, which are beneficial for health.
- Tomatoes are considered a powerful antioxidant. It contains lycopene, which is a powerful antioxidant and helps protect cells from damage. Lycopene also helps reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer.
- Tomatoes help reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer.
- The lycopene and potassium in tomatoes help keep cholesterol levels and blood pressure flexible, which helps maintain health.
- Tomatoes play a special role in improving skin health.
- Vitamin C in tomatoes helps in the production of collagen, which keeps our skin bright and youthful.
- Tomatoes support eye health. Vitamin A and lutein in tomatoes help in maintaining good eyesight and protect against night blindness.
- Tomatoes increase immunity. The high vitamin C content in tomatoes strengthens your immune system to fight infections.
- Tomatoes help in increasing digestion. Tomatoes contain a lot of water and fiber, which helps in preventing constipation and improving digestion.
- Tomatoes help in weight control; they are low in calories and high in water, which helps a lot in losing weight.

Here I am presenting some beneficial properties of basil leaves.
- Basil leaves help in increasing immunity.
- Basil leaves have antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties that help strengthen the immune system.
- Basil leaves are a rich source of antioxidants. They contain powerful antioxidants like eugenol and flavonoids that protect cells from damage and help slow down the aging process.
- Basil leaves support heart health.
- Basil leaves help reduce cholesterol and high blood pressure, and keep the heart healthy.
- Basil leaves help reduce stress and anxiety.
- The compounds in Basil leaves help control cortisol levels. Increases physical and mental calmness and reduces stress.
- Basil leaves improve digestion.
- Basil leaves stimulate the production of digestive enzymes and help reduce flatulence and indigestion.
- Basil leaves control blood sugar.

- Jaggery contains antioxidants and minerals that help strengthen the immune system.
