SLC S27 Week1 - Let's Play OpenTTD

Hope everyone is well. I am also well by the infinite grace of Allah. Today I am going to participate in the OpenTTD game challenge organised by @sergeyk. To be honest, I've played many computer games like this, but I've never played this game before. I had a lot of fun after playing this game. And the games were also very nice.Thank you so much @sergeyk sir for creating such a beautiful challenge.

To download this game, I first went to the game's official website https://www.openttd.org/.Then I selected the latest stable version to download.Then I went there and downloaded the installer file so I could download the game.The game can be downloaded very easily through this installer file.To download this game, just click the Next and Install buttons.And that's how I finished downloading the game.

To play the game, I first need to download the graphics.And here the option to download graphics came up, so I downloaded the graphics.After downloading the graphics, I can see the game very well.

A message appeared on the game screen asking me to download the sounds.So I clicked on the Check Online Content option from the options on the screen.

Then I followed the guidelines, went to the search option, and typed fx into the search.Then a lot of online content came out.I already had the base graphics OpenGFX provided there.Then I downloaded the base sound OpenSFX.It was a download size of 11MiB.

Then I went to the search bar and typed in base.Then came a lot of social media content.Then from there I selected the base graphics abase and downloaded it.Its size was 273 MiB.

Then I went to the search bar and typed music again and searched.A lot of online content has arrived.From there, I selected and downloaded the Base music Animiusic MIDI pack.Its size was 67.7 MiB.

Next I went to the game options.Because I need to change the language and currency of my game.I went to the game options and selected English language.And, I set the USD currency.

Then I went to the graphics options and set the previously downloaded graphics.Then I went to the sound options and set the sound I downloaded earlier.

Then I went to the New Games option.Then I went there and selected all the settings as instructed.Then I generated the game.This is how my beautiful new game was generated.

Then I went to the save option and saved the game as 1st game.To enter this game again, you will have to go to the Load Games option and enter this game.

No, I didn't play train games as a child.But there was a railway very close to my house.I would occasionally go to that railway and watch different trains.These gave me great joy.

Three Toolbar Buttons :
We know that this game has many toolbar buttons.Today I will describe three toolbar buttons.

• Map
• Railroad construction button
• Town directory button

Map Button: Clicking this button will show a map with the name of each city.This map is made with different colors and below the map is written what each color represents.For example, red color represents buildings or industry.This map is very important for playing our games because through this map we can know which city is where.

This button is used to create railway constructions toolbar.It helps in building railways, stations, depots, bridges and tunnels.This option has several more sub-options.We can create railways by choosing the options we like, which makes the game easier.This button is a very important button for any game.

Through this button we will be able to see the names of all the cities.Clicking on these names will take us to the cities.Here you can see the names of all the cities in the new game we created.Moreover, the population of the city is written next to the city name.Anyone can select the city they like.This is also a very important button for our game.

This game has many types of windows. Which is a bit different from other games.And the windows in this game make the game much easier.One of the game's windows is the Industry or Industry Directory.With this button, we can see the name of any industry and also see what percentage of transport has been done for that particular industry.

Through this button, we can arrange the industry serials in various ways according to our wishes.Moreover, we can also arrange how we should arrange it through this button.This button sorts the names in different ways and according to different things such as name, type, rating, etc.Through this button, we can search for different industries according to our wishes.

Through this, the main view of the game is basically taken to that industry.This button makes it easy to find any type of industry on such a large map.This button has windows like Close Window, Shade Window, Resize Window, Pin Window, etc.These windows basically have buttons on almost all of them.

✏️Task 3

Here I went to the town directory to select a city.Here I saw many cities with more or less large populations.From there I went to Nundhall. The population of this city was 505, but after a while it decreased to 491.After that, I went to that city and renamed the city to sinthiya_city.

Then I found a city bigger than mine.The town of Ladinghead Cross had a population of 1288.Then I selected the city and, as instructed, named it Dhaka, meaning the capital of our country.

Then I went to general company information to give my company name.Here you can see all the information about my company.Going through the various options, I selected New Face, Company Name, and Color Scheme.

Then I moved to an empty space and set up my company HQ.

Then I followed the task instructions and saved it as Homework1.

✏️Task 4

I will use depressions, mounds, etc. to test the landscape tools.Then I will write a letter using these.Next, I will use the plantation tool to plant many trees.Then I will make them transparent using the Transparency tool.

Here I have various items to break down the land stuff.Using these, I will clear the land of vegetation that has turned the land into a jungle.I used this option to clear all the trees on this land.

	I have written the letter T in the land using mounds and depressions.

Then I wrote the letter T using depressions and mounds.You can see in the picture that I wrote the letter T.It was very difficult for me to do this because it was the first time I had made it.

Then I used the tree plantation tool to plant many trees around my office.I have planted different types of trees which makes it look even more beautiful.However, planting this tree was relatively easy.

To use the transparency tool, I went to Settings and clicked on the Transparency option.Then I went there, selected what I wanted to make transparent, and transparented the plants.This is how I tested all the landscape tools.

✏️Task 5

I clicked on the Industry Directory button to explore the industry.As I said before, all industries can be seen here.Moreover, we can shorten it in various ways.

I found various types of resources here.Apart from these, there are many other types of resources.None of these have been transported yet.I think if these are transported, they can be turned into goods.I can earn money by doing transportation.

I found a power plant in my city.In addition, there is a coal mine within the city of Dhaka.I think if we can transport coal from Dhaka City's coal mines to the power plant in my city, it will be converted into goods.

If this coal is transported to my power plant, it can be purified and turned into goods.
