So today I decided to visit one popular restaurant and bar in my city. This place is two-in-one. It has a space for a bar and a space for a restaurant, labelled in their section. It was the least known of the restaurant people, but now, it's the talk of the city because of the new management. Every night, there's always traffic in this place as big people drive in to get wild with food and drinks.

It's the center of attraction in most estates, the popular local restaurants with varieties. Let me tell you about The Stanford Bridge restaurant in my city.

What kind of famous food places have you been to? Briefly introduce it.

I've visited a lot of famous food places if I want to go about the question. I've visited Kilimanjaro, Crunches Plus, Tilapia, Bae Arena, De Choice, Vinpy, and many other local restaurants. But the one I want to review for 24 hours is the Ita Bliss Bar & Restaurant. It's not clearly seen on Google Maps, but it's very popular in my locality. It's a local + classy restaurant that operates several night food stands and one of the popular bole plugs in Uyo.

Ita Bliss Bar is a newly renovated restaurant and bar made for the purpose of satisfying the hunger and drink cravings of some people. It was once a small space, not famous as it is now. Some months back, they did an expansion in their space and made a name for themselves.

It happens that someone who can manage a business comes with growth, buys the place, and expands it, even creating a business name for it. Quite incredible, right? The transformation is giving because if you saw this place some years back, it was just for the locals with assorted foods and drinks and a rather considerate space.

It's located at Km 7, Oron Rd, By Custom. You can get to this place by using two distinct routes, which are Airport Rd by Ibiaku if you're coming from there and Oron Rd by Shelter if you're coming from there. The place looks different in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and they are very operational with over 10 staff because of the customers they get.

This place is just after the custom office on Oron Rd. You don't even need a guide because the long sign panel with its name is what you'll use to know. These are landmarks you can use. Talking about management, the management is a couple, and talking about the age of this place, I've known it for more than 6 years. So it's a solid, stand-up place for grooving.

How were the interior and exterior decoration, food quality, and service? (With pictures, prices, and videos)

I'll specify them by creating subheadings to discuss the design, food quality, and service.

Structure, Design, & Purpose

Talking about the structure of the place, it's big and expanded. It's just like a rectangle in length and width. It has a long sign panel that has its business name attached with lighting that shines on the business name at night. If you're looking at it with your mind's eye, you'll notice that the area or space that has the sign panel is the main bar, which makes it one section. Then, the other part on your left is mainly the restaurant, but anyone can sit anywhere that is convenient for them.

Its roofing system falls to the back and waterfalls to the back when it rains, and the materials used to build it are strong, supported by a strong stone foundation as you can see. It's basically just an open-space restaurant and not an inner-space restaurant. It's the best place for grooving.

Talking about the design, you can see with me that this place is beautifully designed, inside and out. Let's look at the exterior critically; you'll see that those paintings on the walls are paintings and drawings of different football clubs. This alone attracts football fans to come and view matches in their bar. They were so creative to even think of this.

Now the interior, the restaurant area of which is the most frequently used place as people make purchases of food every now and then, has a large flex to make the place look like a place of doings. You can see people drinking and having a fun time on the flex. And the color just blends in perfectly.

Their ceiling area has designs that absorb heat, preventing it from reaching people under the shade. It's coated in black linen and made beautiful as if it were for a different purpose.

Food quality

This restaurant doesn't just sell food but also drinks so that once you're done eating, you drink, or you drink while or before eating. They have different types of dishes ranging from the local soups to continental soups, rice of different types, some chewables, snacks, etc.

Drinks ranging from soft, alcoholic, beer, and water. In terms of food, they are organized with their meal planning, and almost everyone gets used to their menu.

How? They work on breakfast, lunch, and dinner levels and also do freestyle. This helps them plan and satisfy the needs of their customers. There are times for special meals like Ekpang Nkukwo. Once the food is ready for you, you'll see the crowd of people in demand. Theo food tastes great, though it's just their dog meat I ate in a tray with my friends.

This is the best plug for dog meat and plantain. Oh God... You'll forget your sins, and do you know what? It's served hot, which makes it even more tasty.

They have the best of chefs for this cooking purpose so that their food would stand out among others and restaurants. As for their drinks, they serve assorted drinks that are cold. No one would want to go to a restaurant that serves hot drinks with hot food. Even their bottle water is from the best brand.

Services and facilities

They have a lot of services that fall under a particular facility. For each facility, a service is done. So I'll mention this in my review. Let's start from services rendered in the exterior. There are about 15 staff in this place if I'm not mistaken.

  • Car park and security: Their car park isn't that spacious. People with cars usually park by the side of the road to avoid blocking moving vehicles. That's why this place is always rowdy at night. Cars entering and leaving this place usually cause serious traffic, which is an advert to other moving vehicles. The security personnel ensure that people aren't armed, especially at night, and they do sit by the entrance.

  • Food stands: There are about 5 good stands, with one special stand for Bole and Fish. These stands are collected by people who want to use the presence of this place to sell their products. In these stands, they sell...

The stand for Bole and Fish is different, as you can see in the picture. It's not connected to other stands, and it's mostly operational at night rather than in the day because that's when people need it the most.

  • **Bar and Viewing Center: The reason why this place is named a Bar is because in my city, "Bar" categorizes food and drinks, but "restaurants" alone may make people feel it's only food that's sold there, making them lose customers. The place is big enough to accommodate over 150 people at once. It's also used as a viewing center for football fans to view football matches. Food and drinks are served by the attendants working there, and there are fans on corners to ventilate the place when it's hot.

  • DJ mix: They have a hypeman who comes there at night to make the place vibby. People love places that can vibrate them and shake the whole building. Anytime it's match day, the sound systems are used to connect to the football match, loud enough to attract passersby.

  • Drinks facilities: Drinks are stored and chilled in this place, and it's only accessed by staff. Customers only stand by the door to get purchases.

  • Restaurant area: The restaurant area is where most people sit to enjoy their meals. There's enough lighting in the place during the day and at night. Food is served round the clock by staff, and if you look closely, there's a wash hand sink for washing hands after meals and a mirror to pick leaves from the teeth, if any. Such a comfortable restaurant.

  • Cooking area: It's the only one that they enter because it's where they cook and prepare recipes or dishes of different kinds. The staff in this area are not those who serve food. They only stock finished foods.

What was the demand for food like in two different periods?

In the early hours of the morning, the demand for food and drinks wasn't as much as that of evening and night. I used this time to capture the place because people come for takeaways, or they come singly, not as much as they would have done in the afternoon, evening, and night. It's as if they also know that the management has an operational menu for how their foods are served.

And do you know the best part? They try their best not to serve food. They have been there for a while. That's why people come in their numbers in the afternoon, evening, and night. The pictures explain this.

My journey started at 9am and ended at 8pm. I just sat there to do my blogging and also wait for when they'll prepare the dog meat with plantain. My friends were also coming there, which was enough reason to stay there longer.

What food have you tried? How was your reporting experience?

Come let me tell you something. Dog meat with plantain in this place is the best thing I've ever eaten. They have the best plug in Uyo. I've tasted dog meat in different places, but I couldn't just resist the taste of the one sold in this place.

I tried dog meat with plantain in the evening with spirit, while in the afternoon, I drank just a bottle of Star Radler beer. As for my morning experience, I'll categorize it in three sections: morning, afternoon, and evening.

Afternoon
Evening/NightIn the late hours of the afternoon, people started coming in numbers. It was in the evening; the place became more lively and vibey. All activities were activated. The crowd at night amazed me, and the DJ was giving. It was then I purchased dog meat with plantain and ate with my friends. We then left the restaurant by 8pm since it was getting dark. Conclusion

Don't judge a restaurant by what they served the time you went visiting. Check at other times, and you'll know the secrets of most restaurants. If you're in Uyo and you've not eaten dog meat with plantain or bole with fish or you don't have a good plug, visit Ita Bliss by custom and change your story.

You get to know the best taste of you if you check out other food vendors instead of sticking to one, even if it means going on a long journey.

Probably why people consider it feminine. Still, it's balanced and pleasing to the ears. I'd know that it belongs to a guy immediately I listen to it because like I mentioned it's the softer and warmer version of the African male's voice.
