Assalamualaikum.

I hope everyone is doing well. By the grace of Allah, I am also doing well, Alhamdulillah. Today I have come to you with a different recipe. In fact, when there is some variation in the daily food list, the taste of eating is right, and the mind also feels good. And home-made food is definitely more delicious and healthy than food prepared in the market. That is why I almost always prepare different types of food at home. If the food is prepared in a healthy way, it is as good as it is delicious. Today I will share the recipe of Halim.

Although I made it yesterday afternoon, today I came to share it with you in the form of this post. Basically, I like to eat Halim in the afternoon or evening. So I made this delicious Halim in the afternoon. But I brought a packet of Halim mix from the market. I did the rest of the cooking myself. I hope you will like my recipe today.

I first cut the meat into small pieces, washed it, and set it aside. I gathered the rest of the ingredients I would need.

Ingredients required for cooking Halim:-

IngredientsQuantity
Meat300 grams
Radhuni Halim Mix1 packet
Chopped onion1.5 cups
Garlic paste1 tablespoon
Ginger paste1 teaspoon
Oil1/3 cup
WaterAs needed
Chopped ginger3 teaspoons
Chopped cucumber1.5 cups
LemonA few slices

Step 1

First, I took two cups of water in a pan and heated it to a boil. After that, I poured the dal mixture in the Halim mix and mixed it well and left it for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Now, I put oil in a pan. I waited for the oil to heat up. Then I added half the chopped onion to it. After adding the onion, I continued to fry it for a while. When it turned brown while frying, I drained the oil and removed it. I removed the removed it and kept it on a plate.

Step 3

Then, I added the remaining onions to that oil. Then I continued to fry them. Then I added ginger paste and garlic paste. I sautéed them for a while.

Step 4

Now in the meantime I added the spices from the Halim packet. Then I mixed everything well with the meat using a whisk. After that I simmered it for a while. After simmering for a while, I added a sufficient amount of water. Then I covered it with a lid and continued to cook well.

Step 5

The meat was cooked and the broth was almost dry. In the meantime, I mixed the mixed dal well with the meat. Then I simmered for a while and cooked it with hot water for a while. When the broth thickened, I took it down.

Final output

Then I took the Halim in a bowl. Then I spread the onion paste on it. One by one, I added chopped cucumber and chopped ginger. I sprinkled some lemon juice on top.

It is now completely ready to eat. One packet of Haleem can be cooked and fed to 5-6 people with great satisfaction.
