How are you all? I hope you are all well. I am also doing well. I am here to share my entry of the Steemit Engagement Challenge, season 28, @jimiaera02 Ma'am presents the Challenge. Kebab is one of my favorite foods. It is popular in our country to eat it on various occasions. But I have never made it at home. Thank you so much ma'am for sharing such a beautiful challenge with us.

No, I have never made Sami Kebab at home before. And this is the first time I made it because of this learning challenge. I really like kebabs, especially with pulao or fried rice. But I've never tried it at home. But my mom used to make it sometimes. I made it with my own hands like it was the first time. I used to think the recipe was very difficult to make, but now it seems much easier. It does take a little time, though. I made this for the first time and I really liked it. It was a new experience.

Cinnamon3/4
Cardamom3/4

Prepare the Shami Kabab recipe step by step and describe the detailed procedure with pictures. Must use your own pictures.

Making Process


Step - 1

First, I soaked the lentils in water.

Now I put the lentils in a pan. Then I gave the beef.

This time I added bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Then I added all the spices one by one. Salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, I added some pepper powder.

Then I gave him a generous amount of ginger paste and garlic paste.Then I added a generous amount of mustard oil.

Then I mixed everything well and added enough water so that the lentils and meat were cooked well. Then I covered it with a lid and waited until it was cooked.

Step - 6

Once the meat and lentils are cooked, remove the pan from the stove. I will cool them now.

Step - 7

Here I blended everything well in a mortar and pestle. It tastes better when blended in a mortar and pestle than when blended in a blender. Then I took them into a bowl.

Then I added chopped onion, chopped green chili, and chopped coriander leaves.I mixed everything well.

Then I broke an egg and put it there. Then I mixed everything well again.Then I made round-shaped kebabs out of them.

Then I heated a sufficient amount of oil in a pan and fried the kebabs there over low heat.

I want to share this shami kebab with @sergeyk. I think kebabs are generally part of our Asian culture. So I want to share this with international steemit friends who can learn about such a delicious food. And also to learn about our native culture and our native food habits. Our Bengal is actually rich in various types of food. Since we use different spices in our food, our food tastes the best. Because of this, our eating habits are very different from those of other countries. If we can share our food like this or share our recipes like this, we can inform everyone about the eating habits of our country.

Congratulations on the victory! And thank you for the invitation — I’ll try to take part in one of these contests, even though it’s difficult to get the spices and, most importantly, the beef (it’s very rare to find that kind of meat for sale here)
