I am writing about my experience of gardening on the balcony with my family members among the topics mentioned in the challenge. Along with traveling, sports and other activities with the family, gardening can be enjoyed, so I enjoy gardening with my family. Planting trees is a hobby of all of us. My son, daughter and wife enjoy planting trees on the balcony very much. I am very happy today with my family planting trees on the balcony, especially planting trees on the small balcony of my house. Honestly, we all enjoyed planting trees on the balcony and participating in the challenge, and my son and daughter also enjoyed it very much.

How did you do it? Explain in details. Who did what, who won and who lost in case of games?

Today I will show you how to garden on the balcony with my family. Gardening on the balcony with my family is a very enjoyable activity for me. When we all plant trees on the balcony together, it feels like we are creating a small green world. Even though the balcony of our house is not very big, we try to decorate it beautifully. We have already planted many flowers and trees on the balcony. Since we plant trees on the balcony, we collect soil in bags. We live in the city area, and we rent a house, so we buy soil and keep it on the balcony.

My wife has been increasing the fertility of the soil by adding natural fertilizers like tea leaves and eggshells to the soil. We take the soil from the bags on the balcony into a pot. For gardening on the balcony, we have a plastic knife and a few pots to collect the soil. We first collect a pot and soil from the bags from the balcony. Then we process the soil and put it in the pots. We take pictures and videos of gardening on the balcony.

My son and daughter, and I sit at home and plant a money plant by putting soil in a pot. We bought the plant in a small pot and brought it. Then we plant the plant in a large pot in our house. We water the garden planted on the balcony every morning and afternoon. My wife, my son, and my daughter take the most care of the plants in the garden. Every day, tea leaves and eggshells are put in the tub.

We have been gardening on our balcony for about ten years now. We had about eighty different species of flowers and trees. Currently, due to moving house and a lack of balcony space, the number of trees in the garden has decreased. However, we will increase the number of trees on the balcony in the future.

Every afternoon, when the sun fades a little, we all go to the balcony. My children go to the trees with great interest. They take great care of the small trees. Some water them, some remove dry leaves, and some jump for joy when they see new buds on the trees. This time is very joyful for us.

What are the challenges of getting everyone together to do this activity together

Along with the joy of gardening on a balcony, there are some challenges. I have mentioned a few of them below.

First of all, time management is a big problem. Not everyone in the family is free together. The boys and girls go to school, some are busy with work, and some are spending time on other things. So it becomes difficult to get everyone to work in the garden together.

Secondly, there is a problem with the division of responsibilities. If these are not divided properly, who will provide water and who will clean, there can be problems. Some people do more work, and some do less, and it can also lead to frustration.

Third, lack of patience. It takes time for a tree to grow. But children often want to see fruits or flowers quickly. When they see the delay, their interest may decrease.

Fourth, space constraints. If the balcony is small, it becomes a little difficult for everyone to work together. Then there can be pushing or discomfort, which is the case in my garden.

What are the gains and how did it benefit your family

This act of gardening on the balcony has benefited my family in many ways. Not only joy, but also some other benefits have come to my family, which I have mentioned below.

First of all, my family bond has become stronger. When we take care of the trees together, we can all spend time together. This makes our love and relationship stronger. My children are also very happy to spend time with me.

Secondly, there has been an educational benefit. My children have learned a lot about plants. They now know how much water to give to which plants, how they grow, and how to take care of them. This is increasing their practical knowledge, which was very important to learn outside of books.

Thirdly, it provides mental peace. Seeing green plants makes the mind feel good. Spending some time on the balcony at the end of the day relieves fatigue. It keeps our minds calm and makes us feel good. We have a swing on the balcony. My son and daughter enjoy sitting on the swing and seeing the beauty of the garden.

Who in the family greatly enjoyed this activity and why?

My son and daughter enjoyed gardening the most in my family. My five-year-old son especially joined me in watering the garden. My son and daughter helped me in various ways while we were planting trees. You can see from the pictures and videos of me gardening that my son really enjoyed it.
