ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, by Allah's endless grace, I am also doing well. Today I have come to participate in my dear @ashkhan sister's engagement competition. She has given a very beautiful discussion on pain-related topics. This is exactly how I will learn myself, teach others, and diagnose diseases. Let's get started.
Shoulder impingement syndrome In this syndrome, inflammation occurs due to friction between the shoulder joint and rotator cuff tendon and severe pain is experienced when rotating the shoulder and raising the arm. This disease makes it difficult for people to continue living their normal lives. And it creates obstacles in living a normal life.
Causes of Shoulder impingement syndrome :-
---
Repeated overhead activity :- Those who do any professional activity such as swimmers, cricket players, volleyball players, painters, can easily get affected by this syndrome.
Poor posture:- In this case, those who work all the time sitting in the office, sitting hunched over, playing excessive computer games, are more likely to get affected.
Rotator cuff muscle weakness :- In this case, those whose muscles are weak for some reason are affected.
Bone Spurs:- Those whose heart rate increases due to any illness, then they are affected by this syndrome due to this excess rate.
Ageing:- Apart from this, elderly people face this problem due to age.
Symptoms and signs:-
---
Feeling severe pain when moving the shoulder.
Feeling pain when doing any heavy work with the hands.
Difficulty in carrying anything heavy on the shoulder that is painful.
Feeling friction in the shoulder.
In my patient's case, he has been feeling shoulder pain for a few days due to sitting hunched over all day for extra studies. After various observations, I was able to diagnose that the patient has Shoulder Impingement Syndrome and it has not reached that serious stage yet.
Patient's symptoms:-
---
The patient has been feeling severe shoulder pain for a few days.
He feels pain when raising his arm and doing any work with his arm raised.
He feels pain while lying on the side where the shoulder hurts.
Diagnosis:-
---
Physical Examination In this case, Neers test and Hawkins test are done by moving the arm up and down at different angles and rotating it, to observe how much pain the patient is feeling, whether the problem is more or less.
X-ray and MRI if needed.
Treatment of Shoulder impingement syndrome:-
---
The general treatments are, rest, avoiding activities that trigger pain such as excessive arm movement and hunched sitting, carrying heavy objects.
Ice therapy will help reduce the pain to some extent.
NSAID drug non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs use if the pain is unbearable.
Physical exercise. For example, finger walk exercise, pendulum exercise etc.
The best protocols for shoulder impingement syndrome are mentioned below:-
---
Ice therapy
proper rest
exercise finger walk exercise, pendulum exercise, Shoulder blade squeeze
avoid excessive activity.
finger walk exercise:- increases blood circulation in the shoulder,
helps reduce pain.
Increases stiffness and helps gradually regain strength
pendulum exercise:- helps reduce inflammation. And quickly reduces pain, helps improve fluid movement in the shoulder.
Shoulder blade squeeze-increases blood circulation, improves sitting posture, increases shoulder strength.

This is very important, so I will invite some of my friends who will either learn something from here, teach us something themselves, or provide comments. @suboohi @chant @sduttaskitchen and @solaymann bro

Thank you for understanding the challenge and sharing your assignment. I hope you will enjoy this week's challenge and try to implement it in your life if you encounter a similar case.
Observations
Saludos apreciado amigo. Son patologías muy complejas. Has sabido tratar no solo los síntomas si no también al tratamiento para superar la afección. Te felicito y deseo bendiciones.
