The restaurant that I will be reviewing in detail today is called Biryani Masala. It is located in the busy Terry Bazar area of Chittagong. The restaurant is mainly known for its Biryani and some popular Bengali dishes.The restaurant was recently opened (2026) and after its opening, it is currently hyped by food lovers. So I went to this restaurant with my friends on June 16th to try the food there. Terry Bazar is a well-known area of the city. Apart from that, the name of the restaurant is clearly mentioned at the entrance so anyone can easily find it. If anyone wants, they can easily go by rickshaw or CNG local bus.

This restaurant is basically a two-story building. The ground floor has various types of food, pots and pans, refrigerators, and other things. The upper floor has seating arrangements for everyone to eat and has washroom facilities. With warm lighting, decorative wall posters, and attractive chandeliers, its interior has a modern atmosphere.

The walls are decorated with pictures of various biryani dishes and interesting writings. This fully air-conditioned restaurant has sofas, chairs, and tables for sitting inside. I think these chandeliers on the ceiling have made the restaurant's atmosphere more attractive.

The lighting, wall design and seating arrangement of the restaurant make it a perfect place to sit and eat with family or friends.When I went to the restaurant, it was lunch time at noon and the staff was quite busy serving food.

There was a lot of customers inside the restaurant. After waiting for a while due to the crowd, I ordered Kachchi Biryani for myself and Mutton Tehari for my friend. The food was served within a short time of ordering the food, which I liked. Soft and juicy pieces of meat, green chili, cucumber and lemon were served with fragrant rice. However, the taste of Mutton Tehari was comparatively better than Kachchi Biryani. The taste of the food was better as it was served hot.

Compared to other restaurants, the quality and price of the food at this restaurant seems relatWhen it comes to food, not just price, but quantity, taste, and quality everything should be considered together. Those who want to sit down and eat biryani or local food while shopping at Terry Bazaar can consider this place. Moreover, this restaurant has several dishes within the student budget, such as egg biryani and small-portion platter items.

I didn't go to Biryani Masala restaurant with my family, I took my friends with me and overall my dining experience at Biryani Masala was quite good. I especially liked the taste of the mutton tehari, and the beautiful interior of the restaurant.

There are separate washrooms for boys and girls inside the restaurant, and separate sinks for washing hands, which shows that the restaurant authorities prioritize customers.There are two branches of Biryani Masala in Chittagong city. The other is located in Chowk Bazar.
However, like any restaurant, there are some things that can be improved. In particular, I found the space inside a bit small and there was a bit of a wait for service during busy times. I am interested in coming here again in the future to try some of the other dishes here with my family or friends.

I like how this review went beyond just saying the food was good. You actually mentioned the things that matter when visiting a restaurant—how easy it is to locate, the seating, air conditioning, service, cleanliness, prices and even the waiting time.
The part that caught my attention was the comparison between the Kacchi Biryani and Mutton Tehari. It’s nice that you didn’t pretend everything was perfect and honestly pointed out that you preferred the Tehari. Your scoring also gives someone a quick idea of what to expect before visiting.
