The station I will visit today is the busiest area of the capital, Dhaka, the Agargaon metro rail station. This station is important for easy access to different parts of Dhaka city. Around 2009-2010, a plan was started to remove the traffic jams in Dhaka city and provide comfortable transport facilities to the city residents. In 2013, the large-budget project was implemented by the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited of the Ministry of Communications, and a consortium of foreign and Bangladeshi companies known as NKDM Association is working as the general consultant for this project, which includes Japan's Nippon Koei and Bangladesh Development Design Consultants.
The project cost 334,720 million taka to complete. A total of 16 stations were established from the capital, Uttara, to Motijheel, of which Agargaon Station is one.

The metro rail line is 27 feet above the main road. Each station is 180 meters long. There are 20.1 km of electric rail trucks 27 feet above the road; the system uses magnetic contactless integrated circuit ticketing, which is commonly known as smart cards.
To enter the Agargaon Metro Rail Station, you have to cross many stairs with very wide and small steps. Every place in the station is very clean; there is not a single bit of dirt anywhere. In addition, the cleaning staff keeps an eye on whether there is any dirt or garbage anywhere. In addition, the passengers coming here are quite aware. The station is very big. Hundreds of people can stay here together. These trains run on a fully electric system. The trains run at a speed of more than 100 kilometers per hour. Each coach of the train is air-conditioned. Due to this, the passengers can travel comfortably.

There are four counters for ticketing inside the station. Two of them have an automatic ticketing system, and the other two counters have ticket sales staff. They deal with customers in very elegant houses.
Besides, there is another counter where monthly tickets are sold. There are many passengers who have to use this route every day; they usually buy monthly tickets, so they do not have to crowd at the ticket counter every day to buy tickets.
Different types of signboards have been provided at different times at the station. As a result, when a new passenger enters this platform, he can follow the signboard and travel towards his destination. Also, special information is written on this signboard for the benefit.
There are numerous fire extinguishers inside the Agargaon Metro Rail Station, which are used to protect safety in times of danger.

The first coach of every train in the Metro Rail Station is reserved for women. Only women can enter. Also, women can enter other coach compartments, but they are open to everyone.
There are two bank ATM booths at Agargaon Station. As long as the station is open, customers can now withdraw money through ATM cards.
