Today I have arrived at the Postogola Bridge or Buriganga Bridge, located in the southern part of the capital Dhaka. This is one of the bridges in the country, it connects the capital with the southern part of the country, now I will visit the Postogola Bridge and set a pin on the Steam Atlas-Map of Bangladesh.
The Buriganga Bridge is a bridge built on the Buriganga River in Bangladesh. As such, it is known to many as the Buriganga Bridge, and the bridge is located in the Postogola area, so it is also known as the Postogola Bridge.

The construction of the Buriganga Bridge began in the 80s and after a long time, its construction was completed in 1989. It was jointly built by craftsmen from China and Bangladesh. This bridge was built as a symbol of friendship, which is why it is also called the China-Bangladesh Friendship Bridge.
The Postogola Bridge is 725 meters long. The Buriganga River is an important river in the country. Every day, numerous launch steamers ply this river. During the construction of the bridge, the bridge was built at a certain height so that ships can move freely. As a result, vehicles can move freely even when the water in the river increases during regular tides or monsoons.

On one side of the Buriganga Bridge, there is the busiest area, Postogola, and on the other side of the river is the Keraniganj area. The Buriganga Bridge directly connects the people of these two areas.
Buriganga Bridge is called the gateway. That is, people from the southern region of the country have to cross this bridge to enter Dhaka city. Every day, millions of people rush to their destinations through this bridge. Again, numerous passenger and cargo transport also ply through the Buriganga River flowing under the bridge.

To get on the bridge, you have to cross a smooth road. The road has been beautifully built on both sides of the bridge so that the cars can move smoothly. There are wide sidewalks on both sides of the bridge, so that people on both sides of the bridge can easily walk across the bridge and enjoy the beauty of the river. Due to the wide sidewalks, some mobile fast food shops can be seen every afternoon. Visitors who come here enjoy the beauty of the river and eat various types of food.

There are high railings on both sides of the bridge so that everyone is safe. There is also a high net on the railing so that no visitor can inadvertently throw food pieces or garbage into the river and pollute the river.
The bridge has an excellent lighting system. These lights are switched on at regular intervals at night and make the area unique. To prevent any accidents on the bridge, various speed reduction instructions are given. These are marked by hanging boards next to the bridge and using special ink on the bridge floor so that they are visible to everyone.
All in all, the Postogola Bridge or Buriganga Bridge has been able to make a groundbreaking contribution to the communication system.

What kind of famous tourist destination have you visited? Briefly introduce yourself.
Today I observed the most important bridge in the country. The bridge that I observed today is called Postogola Bridge. The bridge connects the capital of the country to many districts in the southern part of the country, especially Khulna, Faridpur, Madaripur, Shariatpur, Jessore, Barisal, Patuakhali, and many other districts. Due to the fact that people can easily come and go from these districts, the knife business has expanded rapidly.
What were the activities, services, and facilities of this place? (With pictures + prices, videos) |
|---|
Postogola or Burjuganga Bridge is a busy bridge. Vehicles ply on this bridge 24 hours a day. The bridge is very smooth, there is no abrothebro feeling anywhere.

There are several lanes to cross the bridge, divided according to the speed of the vehicle, due to which there is no problem with the movement of vehicles. In addition, there is a wide footpath. People can walk comfortably on this footpath.
Due to the wide footpath, many mobile shopkeepers sell their products here.
Now I am presenting a short video of the bridge
Highlight the special features of that place. |

When it comes to mentioning the features of the Buriganga Bridge, the first thing that needs to be mentioned is its pitch. The pitch here is very smooth, due to which the cars can cross it very easily.
In addition, the bridge has a wide railing, on which there is a net. Due to which, just as the visitors feel safe while enjoying the beauty due to the railing, the net has been arranged so that no one can pollute the river due to carelessness.
Numerous lights have been installed on the bridge so that the moving vehicles can move freely. Again, lights have been installed under the bridge so that the ships moving on the river can know the location of the bridge and can take action accordingly.
As an inquisitive traveler, share your experience about that place. |

I know a lot about this bridge. Millions of people use this bridge every day. I also cross this bridge to go to different districts, including Kaliganj, Faridpur, and Shariatpur. I have never faced any problem while crossing the bridge. Besides, I sometimes climb on the bridge to enjoy the beauty of the river. The environment is open and beautiful all around. The touch of the fresh air of the river makes the environment attractive. My personal experience about the bridge is very good.
