Ma'am shared a beautiful recipe with us, which is one of the traditional dishes of our country and is delicious. It is a common dish in the South Asian continent, which is cooked and eaten at various events and at home. Today, I have come to participate in the competition with some of the knowledge I have gained from this recipe as a student.

This is a dish that makes my mouth water whenever I think of it, especially in the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, because it is more common in a place called "Old Dhaka", where this dish is made at home, which has been known as the traditional dish of our country for ages.

Since ancient times, kings have been eating this dish, one of their favorite dishes is "Kebab", and since then, it has been around for ages, but since it is meat, it is very delicious.

Yes, I eat this dish often at home, since its recipe is very simple. I make it often, but comparatively, I cook it more at home in the summer season than in the winter season. The feeling of eating hot "Jali Kebab" in the winter season cannot be overstated. Moreover, it is delicious to eat because it has different types of spices and meat.

Usually, this is a traditional food of our country, so this Jali Kebab is definitely kept in traditional festivals. It is also specially made for various types of ceremonies (weddings, birthdays, Muslim holidays, etc.). No ceremony is complete without this kebab, so it is easy to understand how important this food is for us.

I will make the Jali Kebab. Before making it, it takes several ingredients, so I am listing the ingredients.

  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Bread 2 pieces
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves as desired
  • Green chillies 2 pieces
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce 1 teaspoon
  • Cooking oil as required
  • Salt to taste

First of all, I took chicken meat in a clean bowl, and I ground it well in a blender.

Then I put water in an empty bowl, and I soaked the bread in it and kept the water separate from the bread.

After keeping it separate, I mixed the blended meat with the bread well.

Then I added chopped onion, chopped coriander, black pepper powder, cumin powder, salt, red pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, and tomato sauce as ingredients.

Then I mixed it well, mixed it and arranged it in the shape of small pakoras.

I took a chicken egg and beat it well so that it was completely mixed.

I put a pot on a low flame in the electric stove and heated it with cooking oil. When the oil got hot, I dipped the pakoras in the egg liquid and dropped them into the hot oil.

I reduce the temperature of the oven and fry it well. When it is fried, I remove it with the help of a sieve and keep it aside. This is how my Jali Kabab is done.

This Kabab is best eaten with tomato sauce; besides, it is also eaten with pulao. However, most people prefer to eat hot Kabab with tomato sauce, and since it is winter season in our country, it is suitable to eat with sauce. Eating hot Kabab with sauce in the winter season makes the mind more attractive.

I took tomatoes, onions and tomato sauce to decorate it and present it, which also looks delicious. However, it is more delicious and quality than it looks.

Did you face any problems while making the Jali Kebab recipe?

Yes, I faced some problems in making it. When I blend the meat, the meat is dry, so I add a little water to the meat to make it easier to blend.

When all the ingredients are mixed, when I put it in the form of pakoras, I don't want it to stick to the plate, so I have already applied some cooking oil to my hands and the container; otherwise, there is a possibility of it breaking.
