Today will be one of the memorable days of my life. A diary full of busyness, responsibility and joy from dawn to dusk.
Today was our younger sister's yellow evening. The only beloved younger sister of three brothers. Her marriage means a wave of celebration in our house.

The morning started with responsibility. As a brother, there is no less work. Right after dawn, I went out to the market. I bought colorful colored paper to decorate in front of the gate. It seemed that these small things hide the colorful memories of today.

There is no chance to stop for so long. I went out to the market again. To buy one-time plates of snacks for the wedding guests. Going from shop to shop, price, calculation. In the midst of everything, I felt a strange joy. I was tired, but the pride of responsibility was beating the fatigue.
While going to the market in the morning, another thing I noticed was the heavy traffic jam around. The line of cars on the road, the sound of horns, created a restless atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be chasing somewhere or the other. Sometimes I felt that if I was stuck in this traffic jam, it would be difficult to finish the work at the market. But today was no ordinary day. This thought gave me the strength to move forward patiently. Even in the middle of the traffic jam, I was thinking about organizing my sister's yellow evening, decorating the gate, entertaining the guests. Everything had to be done properly. So, not with annoyance, but with a sense of responsibility, I crossed the traffic jam and went from one shop to another to collect the necessary things. It seemed that even in this crowd and noise, preparations were underway for today's joy.

The arrangements for putting up the Abir started as soon as noon rolled around. The courtyard, veranda, and surroundings of the house became filled with smiles and colors. Everyone was smearing Abir on each other, some were taking pictures, some were laughing and eating looputti. In those moments, I understood that family means pure joy like this.
Then we all took a bath and started dressing up for the yellow evening. The atmosphere in the room changed in the blink of an eye. My two younger sisters. Although they were young, they looked even more magical in yellow sarees. Their excitement, wandering in front of the mirror, and laughter all combined to make the room a living picture of the festival.

As dusk fell, the main event of the yellow evening began. The lights, songs, crowds of people, and the shy smile on the sister's face all combined to create an emotional atmosphere. The moment of applying yellow to the sister as a brother was somehow rekindling in my heart. So many childhood memories were flooding my eyes unknowingly.
Another round of busyness came towards night. The decoration people came to decorate the gate with fresh flowers. We also started decorating the gate hand in hand with them. The smell of flowers, the play of light and shadow, and the decorated gate in the silence of the night seemed to be an expression of our love.
Finally, when I sat down and took a breath, I realized how busy the whole day had been, but more than tiredness, there was satisfaction. The joy of fulfilling my duties, the happiness of seeing my sister smile, and the privilege of spending such a day with my family. All in all, today will be written separately in my life diary. A colorful, emotional, and love-filled day passed amidst the busyness. The day of my younger sister's yellow evening.
