I usually use Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn the most. I can share pictures of my moments with my baby on Facebook and Instagram. I use WhatsApp to talk. Sometimes I use WhatsApp to talk on video calls. I share some of my work experiences on Link. There are many people who share important things here that I can learn. Sometimes I can note down important things.

✪ How much time do you spend daily on social media, and what do you usually do there?

I don't waste much time on social media, but if there is any necessary work, yes, I spend time on that. I don't waste much time only on schooling. I often watch live shows, see dresses, jewelry, shoes, all these collections. I also watch saree live shows. And I watch the updated news.

In this light, we can say that the past ten years have been significant in our lives. Keeping in touch has become an essential part of our daily lives during this time. Our lives have become significantly impacted by social media. As a result, many people refer to the present era as the "age of social media." Users of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and later Pinterest, Reddit, and Twitch have naturally been able to comprehend these platforms' various features for a considerable amount of time. Currently, young people make up the majority of social media users. These young people are discovering new ways to stay connected with one another as they learn to use these tools. Consequently, a number of pivotal moments have occurred throughout world history. Currently, many people in Bangladesh are using social media for entertainment. However, a change in the way social media is used is being observed among users. People are using social media as a necessary tool because it is a two-way active medium. In addition to their friends and relatives, social media users from one end of the country can learn about the thoughts and creativity of a social media user from the other end; they are enriching themselves in various ways.

Social media's nature is constantly evolving. There are a lot of people involved all over the world, and these platforms have more than one billion users all together. Short video platforms are becoming increasingly popular with young people as a means of expressing their creativity. They can show how creative they are or talk about topics they find interesting on these platforms. Numerous young people are following people according to their preferences, which is contributing to the development of various social media trends. These trends include fashion and food-related topics; even being vocal about various social issues has become a part of it.These topics are also affecting their lifestyle.These platforms are also being used in bad ways in some cases. However, many brands, influencers and ordinary users are using these platforms positively, which is having a positive impact on the lifestyle of new users.
When families of young people, educational institutions, social media influencers and ordinary users try to influence young people, they should emphasize the positive aspects of these media rather than bringing up the negative aspects of these media. Social media is a medium for sharing ideas or expressing oneself. The user, not the platform, determines the content that is shared on these platforms. Additionally, it is the responsibility of these platforms to ensure healthy entertainment and positive activities in society. There are increasingly more social media platforms. Young people are showing their creativity on these platforms more than before. In Bangladesh, as in other nations, young people's creativity on these platforms has become second nature. The positive use of these platforms by young people will pave the way for Bangladesh's transformation.

Both the good and bad sides of social media are very important. However, we must leave the bad side, follow the good side and try to bring changes in our lives and make ourselves more progress.
