She asked some interesting questions also. I try my level best for answering and participating in this contest.

🌺 Have you ever tried any dessert that is made from vegetables? If you like any, give its name and why.

Yes! I have made halwas and custards from fruits and vegetables, such as pumpkin halwa, bottle gourd halwa and carrot halwa gejrella, among vegetables, in addition to fruit custard and cake among fruits. All these desserts are very tasty and beneficial, especially in winters. My mother always makes some halwas, because we are liked sweet dishes in our home after dinner.

Steemit friends, today I will share with you the recipe for carrot halwa. I hope you like it. Friends, this dessert is very easy to make.

The ingredients needed to make this dish are as follows:

• Carrots: one kg
• Milk : one kg
• Sugar: one cup
• Semolina: one cup
• Desi ghee : as required
• Green cardamoms: ten to twelve
• Dry fruits: as required.

🏵️Preparation:

Step ( 1)

First of all, I washed the carrots well and then grated them. After that, I put the grated carrots in a pan and let their water dry.

Step (2)

After that, I added milk and let the carrots melt in the milk on low heat. When the carrots melted well, I added sugar to it.

Step (3)

In another pan, I heated desi ghee and roasted the semolina in it. Now, I mixed the roasted semolina with the carrots and mixed it well and kept stirring the spoon until the ghee came out slowly.

Step (4)

The halwa was just roasted and started to come out from the edges. Yes, a very tasty halwa is ready.

Now, I chopped the dates and added them. I added the almonds and coconut. In winter, we eat carrot halwa and gajreela with great enthusiasm.

This is not only delicious but also beneficial. Because gajrella is mostly cooked in milk on low heat, adding as many dry fruits as you like will only increase its nutritional value.

Carrots: Carrots are a great blessing from Allah Almighty. They are very beneficial for human health. Their consumption sharpens eyesight. Carrots play a very important role in the development of bones and teeth. Apart from this, the use of carrots is very useful for heart diseases and skin. Carrot juice produces blood, which also improves the skin.

Semolina: Semolina is a very beneficial thing. It provides us with protein and fiber. It also contains iron. It is the best source of energy. I make semolina pudding for my children, which is very delicious and nutritious and plays an important role in the development of children.

Sugar: Sugar is our sweet because it creates taste in our sweets. Without it, no dessert is complete. Sugar creates instant energy. It strengthens our brain and muscles.

Green cardamoms: They give a very delicious flavor to our sweets and are very useful for digestion.

Dry fruits:They are rich in nutrients and are very beneficial for gaining energy and increase the flavor of any dessert.

Desi ghee: It is rich in vitamins A, E, and K, is easily digestible, and is very useful for skin and hair. It strengthens the heart and gives strength.

No, I did not face any difficulty in making this halwa, and I made it easily and quickly. Yes, if I had made it before marriage, it would probably have been bad, but marriage is something that teaches good lessons, and we learn to make many things. Time is your greatest teacher.
