Assalamu Alaikum! Hope you are all well, Alhamdulillah I am also very well. I am very happy to have a course on such a wonderful topic "SC-S31-W1 // The Art of Bread Making // "Flat Bread" in the first week of Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 31. Although we consider bread making to be an easy task, through this course I once again felt that it is an ancient art. Many thanks to @suboohi madam for giving me the opportunity to organize this competition. In today's post, I will share the story of making bread or our ever-familiar flour bread and paratha from my kitchen experience. So let's get started....!

✅ 1. What type of bread do you make at your home. Have you tried flat bread before?(2 Mark)

38469.jpg

Bread is an integral part of our daily lives. Personally, I usually prefer to make homemade bread from wheat flour at home. But especially when our family has breakfast together in the morning, it is a source of peace to fry it with hot fulko wheat flour and flour bread. This flat bread or chapta roti is not new to me at all. Since my childhood, I have seen how my mother used to make bread for our entire family with utmost compassion. But now I feel quite comfortable making bread and paratha myself. Apart from that, I have had the opportunity to eat naan roti, garlic naan, tandoori roti, rumali roti from shops at different times, considering everything, I think the satisfaction of making my own bread is different.

✔ I first took 2 cups of wheat flour in a clean bowl. Now I mixed a little salt and oil in it. Then I added a little warm water little by little and made a smooth dough with great patience.

Step 02

38432.jpg

✔ Then I covered the dough with a plate for 30 minutes. Leaving the dough covered for 20-30 minutes allows the gluten to set and makes it much easier to roll out the bread.

Step 03

38435.jpg38437.jpg

✔ Once the yeast was set, I cut the lychees into small pieces. Then, I sprinkled a little flour on top of the lychees, made them into round shapes, and placed them in a bowl.

Step 04

✔ I now rolled out the dough balls with a rolling pin so that all sides were the same thickness. I shaped the dough into the round shape I wanted.

Step 05

38447.jpg38448.jpg38449.jpg38450.jpg

38451.jpg

✔ At this stage, I spread 1 teaspoon of oil on the rolled bread. Then I rolled it like a rope and stretched it. Now I rolled it again and made it into a round shape. I made all the rounds in the same way and kept it on a plate.

Step 06

38458.jpg38460.jpg

38464.jpg

✔ At this stage, I heated a pan in the oven and first fried the rotis on low heat, then fried them in oil on both sides until golden brown. I fried all the rotis in the same way and placed them on a plate.

I always believe that any food we prepare tastes twice as good if it is presented beautifully. I have prepared my wheat flour paratha and decorated it with onions on a plate. Cooking is a soothing experience, but by participating in this competition, I have not only learnt how to make roti but also got to present my daily habits in a creative way. I hope you all like this small effort of mine.
