Greetings to everyone!!!
Welcome to Steemit Challenge Season 31. I would like to thank @steemitblog for giving me this opportunity. In this course we will explore the different bread recipes every week, their ingredients, their cooking techniques, and a Bread making recipe that is the most popular.
Introduction
Making bread is a very old and special food that is simple and easy to make. It requires a few ingredients and a little care. Breads are of many kinds and all over the world people make and enjoy them. Loaf, naan, roti, tortilla, sour dough etc.
If you're just starting to learn to make a bread or you are a pro in it, making bread is therapeutic for all.
In this course I'll teach you the basics of bread making, you Will understand the recipe and can make it at your own home easily. I know you will be able to make bread at the end of this course.
In this season we'll explore different cooking techniques to make different delicious bread.
Flat Bread
Flat breads are made by using flour dough , the method of making dough is same for all above breads only tortilla ateade from maize flour. Today I'm sharing roti and paratha recipe with you. Both breads can be made with whole wheat flour or mixed wheat flour. Tortilla also made by the same recipe but maize flour / all purpose flour is used.
Let's start today's bread

| Oil | 2tbsp | |
| Water | as needed |
For Dough:
- Take flour in a bowl, add salt and oil and mixed it well. Then gradually add water and mixed it hands.

- Kneed the dough well until it becomes smooth. Cover the dough with lid or plastic wrap. Dough is ready keep it rest for 20-30 minutes for soft roti.

Roti Making:
- Take small portion of dough of equal sizes and make their balls.

- Now roll the dough balls with rolling pin in such a way it should have same thickness from all sides. Spread the dough to desire size.

- Now put tawa/cast iron pan for bread on flame and when it becomes hot put this rolled dough on it. Cook it from both sides.

Roti/Chapati is ready to serve. Keep it in bread cloth to keep it soft for long time.

Paratha Making :
- Same process like roti , when dough is rolled put 1 teaspoon oil/butter/ghee on it and spread it nicely.

Now you can fold dough in two ways to make paratha.
1st style:
- After spreading ghee fold one side of dough then cover this with other side and then fold it from uperr side and lower side and make it like square. The paratha made by this folding is square in shape.

- Roll the dough, all side should be of same thickness and make a thin square rolled dough. Like roti cook it on pan.

- Paratha is ready to serve. Enjoy it hot.

2nd Style :
- for 2nd style after spending ghee on dough roll it like rope and stretch it.

- Now roll it and cook it like the previous paratha. This way you can make circle shape paratha.

Make any flat bread (roti/paratha/tortilla)that you like with a detailed step-by-step procedure along with images. (6 Marks)
List the prices of the ingredients you buy for making the bread. (prices in your local currency and in STEEM).(1 Mark)
Make a good Presentation of your bread. (1 Mark)
