Unfortunately things are going to come to an end, as the trees are becoming increasingly bare and the beautiful leaves will eventually end up on the ground. In some places they are quickly swept up and cleared away, but in others they are fortunately allowed to lie around a little longer. And that's exactly where I like to walk around, and from there I've brought back a few pictures today.

During my little walk, I kept rushing trough the leaves, just like I did many years ago. And hopefully, I will continue to be in this very mood to get up close and personal with autumn in the future as well.

And I also made a new acquaintance along the way. I wish you all the best, little kitten, and hope that you always have a warm and cozy place to lay your little head at the end of the day. Hope to see you around next time..

Every day it is getting more — and I'm happy about that.

I'm talking about all the leaves that are lying on the ground these days. Here in Japan, the trees seem to be taking a little more time and are a month behind their counterparts in my home country, where it was already pretty bare at the end of October. And I'm very happy about the delay, because it means it still looks so wonderfully colorful and autumnal outside.

I probably feel the same way as most small children, who also love to rustle through the leaves with their feet and let them fly in front of them. I still enjoy doing that a lot, at least when I'm not under close observation.

Like recently, when I took a quick walk at lunchtime and was able to wander around through autumn for a little while. And once again, I was really thrilled by all the colorful leaves lying on the ground in front of me.

Jeden Tag werden es mehr - und ich freue mich darüber.

Die Sprache ist von all den vielen Blättern, die in diesen Tagen auf dem Boden liegen. Hier in Japan scheinen die Bäume sich etwas mehr Zeit zu lassen und einen Monat später dran zu sein als ihr der Heimat, wo es Ende Oktober brereits ziemlich kahl geworden. Und darüber freue ich mich sehr, sieht es draußen doch weiterhin so herrlich bunt und herbstlich aus.

Wahrscheinlich geht es mir manchmal wie den kleinen Kindern, die es doch auch lieben, mit ihren Füßen durch die Blätter rascheln und sie ein wenig vor sich her fliegen zu lassen. Ich mache das immer noch sehr gerne, zumindest dort, wo ich nicht unter strenger Beobachtung stehe.

So wie letztens bei einem schnellen Spaziergang, wo ich zur Mittagszeit eine kleine Runde durch den Herbst drehen durfte. Und dabei war ich von all den vielen bunten Blättern, die vor mir auf dem Boden lagen, mal wieder richtig begeistert.

Leider ist ein Ende abzusehen, denn oben auf den Bäumen wird es nun zunehmend kahler, und die Blätterpracht findet sich am Ende dann auf dem Boden wieder. An einigen Stellen wird sie schnell zusammengekehrt und weggeräumt, aber woanders darf sie zum Glück noch etwas liegenbleiben. Und genau dort laufe ich am liebsten lang, udn von dort habe ich heute ein paar Bilder mitgebracht.

Ich habe bei meiner kleinen Runde die Blätter immer wieder ein wenig auffliegen lassen, so wie vor vielen Jahren ja auch schon. Und hoffentlich werde ich auch in der Zukunft weiterhin in der Stimmung sein, dem Herbst ganz ganz nah zu kommen.

Ach ja, unterwegs habe ich noch eine neue Bekanntschaft gemacht. Auch dir Kätzchen wünsche ich alles Gute und hoffe, dass du immer einen warmen und gemütlichen Platz hast, um am Ende des Tages dein kleines Köpfchen abzulegen. Hoffentlich bis nächsten Mal...
