It snowed after all =/=Und es hat doch geschneit 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

Even though it didn't look like it at first last week, we ended up getting quite a lot of snow. It had gotten really cold in the middle of last week and it had snowed heavily in the mountains. But first the snow seemed to avoid our city completely.

Then on Friday evening, it finally started to snow in our city as well. By the next morning, everything around us was white, and the snowfall seemed to be never-ending. Luckily, it was the weekend and we didn't really have to leave the house, although I made sure our cars were ready to go at any time. But as soon as I had cleared the snow in front of our house, everything was immediately covered again and I had to start all over again.

On the one hand, it was actually quite some fun, as somehow everything around us suddenly seemed so beautiful and peaceful. Snow has an enchanting, almost magical side to it, which we were able to rediscover this time again.

The snowfall continued until Saturday evening, and on Sunday the sky was mostly clear and winter gave us a break. Fortunately, this meant that the roads could be cleared, so the new week didn't start with a lot of snow chaos and I was able to drive to work without any problems.

Hopefully it will stay that way. Temperatures will continue to fluctuate over the next few days, and I am curious to see what else is in store for us.

DEUTSCH

Auch wenn es in der letzten Woche zuerst nicht so aussah, haben wir am Ende doch eine ganz schöne Ladung Schnee abbekommen. Mitte der letzten Woche war es richtig kalt geworden und in den Bergen hatte es immer wieder viel geschneit. Aber um unsere Stadt
hatte der Schnee einen großen Bogen gemacht.

Aber Freitagabend ging es dann los und es hatte angefangen zu schneien. Bis zum nächsten Morgen war es bereits überall um uns herum weiß, und der Schneefall schien einfach kein Ende zu nehmen. Glücklicherweise war es Wochenende und wir mussten nicht wirklich raus aus dem Haus, auch wenn ich natürlich dafür gesorgt habe, dass unsere Autos jederzeit einsatzbereit war. Aber sobald ich den Schnee vor unseren Haus weggeräumt hatte, war kurz darauf alles sofort wieder eingeschneit und ich konnte von vorne beginnen.

Auf der einen Seite hat es ja sogar Spaß gemacht, denn irgendwie wirkte alles um uns herum auf einmal so schön und so ruhig. Schnee hat nun einmal auch eine zauberhafte, ja fast magische Seite, die wir auch diesmal wieder entdecken konnten.

Der Schneefall hielt bis Samstagabend an, und am Sonntag war der Himmel dann weitesgehend ruhig und der Winter hielt sich etwas zurück. So konnten wenigsten die Straßen geräumt werden, so dass die neue Woche zum Glück nicht mit einem großen Schneechaos begang und ich erst einmal problemlos zur Arbeit fahren konnte.

Hoffentlich bleibt da auch so. Die Temperaturen werden in den nächten Tagen immer mal wieder hoch und runter gehen, und ich bin gespannt, was uns jetzt noch erwarten wird.
