Not as planed =/= Anders wie geplant 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

Well, actually, we weren’t supposed to be home today, but unfortunately things turned out quite differently. As we’ve already mentioned, we’ve got a visit from the chickenpox right now. And that means we had to put our wonderful plans for today on hold for the time being. We’ll probably find out on Monday whether everything will be canceled in the end; until then, it’s just a matter of worrying and being grumpy at times.

That aside there isn’t much else to report today. The week is over for now, and looking back, it was quite a rollercoaster ride. Up and down with abrupt changes in direction, which really shook us up. But I did discover a few destinations for future explorations along the way. And that's quite something, especially the potential for a little fun and variety.

Now we'll just have to see how things play out. Maybe in the end we'll find a silver lining to this dark cloud; as they say, hope dies last. And if everything does go down the drain, there will be another chance for a little adventure at some other point. That's for sure!

DEUTSCH

Nun ja, eigentlich wollten wir ja heute ja gar nicht zu Hause sein, aber leider ist es erst einmal ganz anders gekommen. Wir ja bereits erwähnt, haben wir gerade die Windpocken zu Besuch, was dazu geführt hat, dass wir unsere wundervollen Pläne, die wir für den heutigen Tag hatten, erst einmal verschieben mussten. Ob letztendlich dann alles flach fallen wird, wissen wir dann wohl am Montag, bis dahin heißt es erst mal noch bangen und schmollen.

Und viel mehr gibt es dann heute auch nicht zu berichten. Die Woche ist erst mal zu Ende, und rückblickend war es eine ordentliche Berg-und-Tal-Fahrt. Hoch und runter mit abrupten Richtungswechseln, was einen ordentlich durchgeschüttelt hat. Aber wobei ich dann dann auch das eine oder andere Ziel für künftige Erkundigungen entdeckt habe. Das hat doch auch schon was, vor allem das Potential für ein wenig Spaß und Abwechslung.

Jetzt müssen wir erst mal sehen, wie es weitergeht. Vielleicht haben wir ja am Ende doch noch ein wenig Glück im Unglück, die Hoffnung stirbt ja bekanntlich zuletzt. Und wenn dann doch alles ins Wasser fällt, dann gibt es irgendwann eine weitere Chance für ein kleines Abenteuer. Ganz bestimmt!
