Three times 2025 =/= Drei Mal 2025 - Part 1 🌄🎩 🌈 ENG-GER

Well, there's no denying it now — 2025 is coming to a close. What can I say, it was a great year, even if not everything that happened to me over the last twelve months was perfect. But looking back, I don't want to complain, I'd rather be happy that we got to experience so much. And that I had such wonderful people by my side, who made it even more fun to be on the road and discover the beauty of our world.

So I'll spare myself and you the big year-end review and detailed summary. I'll keep it a little simpler and have picked out three pictures from three different places that I liked best this year. Choosing the places wasn't that difficult, it was just selecting the pictures that was a problem. I took so many photos everywhere we went, almost all of which deserve a place in a blog post. But since we don't want to push it too far at the end of the year, I limit myself to a total of three times three pictures today.

My three favorite places in 2025 were Tokyo, Aizu, and Berlin — and that's where today's three pictures are from.

Picture 1 shows the Brandenburg Gate, which was accompanied by a wonderful blue sky on the day of our visit. That makes Berlin even more fun.

Picture 2 is from Tokyo and shows the pagoda on the grounds of Sensoji Temple in Asakusa. I visit this temple almost every time I'm in Tokyo — it's simply part of my standard itinerary. And for good reason!

Picture 3 is a bridge scene from Yan-Aizu. When I'm in the Aizu region, we have to stop here every time, and I always enjoy the great panorama that we get here. The season doesn't matter, but fall is definitely a good choice.

Nun ja, nun lässt es sich wirklich nicht mehr leugnen - das Jahr 2025 dabei, seine Pforten zu schließen. Was soll ich sagen, es war ein tolles Jahr, wenn natürlich auch nicht alles toll war, was mir in den letzten zwölf Monaten passiert ist. Aber im Rückblick will ich mich gar nicht beschweren, sondern mich lieber darüber freuen, dass wir so viel erleben durften. Und das ich dabei so großartige Menschen an meiner Seite hatte, mit denen es noch mehr Spaß machte, unterwegs zu sein und die Schönheit unserer Welt zu entdecken.

So richtig erspare ich mir und uns dann den großen Jahresrückblick und das detailierte Resüme. Ich mache es ein wenig einfacher und ich habe heute drei Bilder von drei verschiedenen Orten herausgesucht, wo es mir in diesem Jahr am Besten gefallen hat. Die Wahl der Orte war nicht so schwer, nur die Auswahl der Bilder war ein Problem. Ich habe dort überall so viele Fotos gemacht, die eigentlich fast alle einen Platz in einem Blogbeitrag verdient haben. Aber da wir es zum Jahresende nicht übertreiben wollen, beschränken wir uns auf insgesamt drei Mal drei Bilder.

Meine drei Lieblingsorte in 2025 waren Tokio, Aizu und Berlin - und vor dort sind die heutigen drei Bilder.

Bild 1 zeigt des Brandenburger Tor, welches am am Tag unseres Besuches von einem wundervollen blauen Himmel begleitet wurde. So macht Berlin doch gleich noch mehr Spaß.

Bild 2 ist aus Tokio und zeigt die Pagode im Gelände des Sensoji Tempels in Asakusa. Bei fast jedem Besuch in Tokio komme ich bei diesem Tempel vorbei - er gehört in Tokio einfach zu meinem Standardprogramm dazu. Und das aus gutem Grund!

Bild 3 ist eine Brückenszene aus Yan-Aizu. Wenn ich in der Aizu-Region bin, müssen wir hier jedes Mal vorbeikommen und ich freue mich jedes Mal wieder über das tolle Panorama, das sich uns hier bietet. Die Jahreszeit ist egal. aber Herbst ist auf jeden Fall eine gute Wahl.
