My Weekly Food Highlight, Take a look🤤💥

This beautiful contest organized by @ngoenyi ma’am gave me a chance to share my passion for food and creativity in a joyful way. I really enjoyed writing about my weekly food experiences, and it filled my heart with happiness. Being part of such a caring, encouraging, and positive community truly feels special. I am grateful for this platform where we can connect, support each other, and share our small but meaningful joys together.

On Friday, I went out with my friends for a small get-together with my school mates. We chose a nice restaurant in Lahore and spent a long, relaxing time there. I was really excited to meet everyone after so long. We ordered a variety of tasty food pizza, sandwiches, and fries and everything tasted amazing. Since I love coffee, I had a cold coffee, which I really enjoyed.

For dessert, we had rich chocolate fudge cake, and one of my friends even brought some other brownie, which made the moment extra special. We all shared it together after the meal.

That day was full of laughter, long conversations, and beautiful memories. The food was delicious, the vibe was cheerful, and the ambiance made everything feel even more perfect. It was one of those days I’ll always remember and wish to relive again.

On Saturday, I visited my cousin’s house, and just outside his home there was a small food stall selling samosas, rolls, and fries. The stall was run by an elderly uncle, well known in the area for his tasty snacks. I had heard many times that his samosas were especially delicious, so I was eager to try them.

He prepared everything right in front of us, frying the samosas and roll fresh until they turned golden and crisp. The crunch was perfect, and the aroma filled the air. They had both potato and chicken samosas, so my cousin and I bought a mix of both. Watching them being fried and then enjoying them hot made the experience even better, and it turned a simple visit into a really enjoyable moment.

On Sunday, guests visited our home and really enjoyed our homemade coffee. Some made cold coffee for themselves, while one cousin preferred hot coffee. The coffee was smooth, tasty, and easy to make.

When I served it, everyone praised it and liked it a lot. In the winter weather, the hot coffee felt comforting. Since some prefer bitter and others sweet, we made sweet coffee that everyone enjoyed.

The next day, I went to a bakery with my brother to buy their famous frozen pizzas. The pizzas from this shop are always fresh and full of flavor. When we heat them in the oven, they turn perfectly soft, and the taste stays just as good as always.

We also had mango juice with the pizza, which made the meal even better. We had been craving this pizza for a long time, so going to the bakery myself and bringing it home felt really satisfying. It was a simple outing, but the food made it special and enjoyable.

• The main factors that made me settle for this food were personal cravings, cultural influence, availability, and family preferences. Most of the food I shared in this post is easily available in my surroundings and is commonly enjoyed in our culture, such as samosas, coffee, and pizza. These foods are affordable and fit well within our daily lifestyle, so finance was not a major issue.

• Another strong factor was togetherness. Eating with friends, cousins, and family always makes food more enjoyable. Whether it was a get-together with friends, fresh street food, or homemade coffee in winter, every meal became special because it was shared with loved ones.

• My cravings also played an important role, especially for coffee and pizza, which I had been wanting for some time. Overall, these food choices reflect simplicity, comfort, cultural taste, and the happiness of sharing meals together.
