My Travel Experience #4: Day 1 in my Husband's Village, Listen as a baby talks, Attended a Religious Assembly with my parents in-law
I didn't know that this little baby could talk this way! You can't believe what my ears heard. Recall that I travelled to my in-laws for 2 reasons. One was to attend a religious Assembly that we missed as a result of relocation and the other was to attend a burial of my in-law's husband. But first, let me narrate my experience attending an assembly with my In-laws and how a baby was able to surprise me with her talks.
I personally woke up very early on Saturday which was the day of the Religious Assembly, precisely on the 3rd of January 2026. I had to prepare food for lunch. I was able to prepare Jollof rice with the stew I prepared as soon as I got to my in-law's. Everything was set before 7am. We then got ready and I started making videos and taking pictures as you can see below
The time for the Assembly was scheduled to be by 9.40 am. We later left home by few minutes to 8 am and drove for about an hour before we got there. It was remaining just few minutes for the program to begin. Then we located where to seat down. The truth is that this particular ground is familiar to be me but everything has changed. A major renovation was done on it and it was remodelled. New look, new seats, new roof with heat proof. Previously, during the afternoon session, heat is usually very much but now, technology has made it possible for the heat to be controlled..
The seats are foldable and affixed to the group. The then there were clearly marked areas for the elderly and infirm. We nearly sat there until we noticed the institution on the floor. I only went out to ease myself immediately we arrived before the program began. I couldn't take pictures but I was able to take videos as we were trying to go in and locate our seats.

The program began at the exact time with songs and prayer. Then the morning program chairman introduced the topic and the opening speaker. Will you like to know the topic? Please click the link below from JW.org website

The last part of the morning program was the baptism talk which ended with the baptism of those that presented themselves for baptism. Then the break period began by few minutes to 12 noon for refreshments and interchange of encouragement. This was when I took some pictures

We then enjoyed our food, went out to greet brothers and sisters, buy few things like drinks and chewables along with sweets that could help keep us awake during the afternoon session. The break lasted for an hour plus before the afternoon session began with song.
Then those that had parts took their turn to educate us. Yes, obedience is the main point and never going back to the things we had left behind which are not good. We are to listen to what the spirit says to the congregation.
As soon as the program was over, it was time for another pleasantries. Pictures went on and on. Please don't blame me for adding much pictures because I love taking pictures for memories

We found our way back to our vehicles and left to our various homes. It was so exciting and we truly enjoyed it. Attending this assembly was made easy because we had been thinking of how to attend it since we had missed it.bit just came on a platter of gold for us. Imagine attending our first assembly with my in-laws! It was truly a thing of joy. And we even saw old time friends who were so excited to see us and to know that we are back to base. Yes, we started from this place. We are glad to be back.
The video below will explain my travel experience #4 in details
My next travel experience is going to be a sad one. Just expect it!
