Today I will take you to see a significant landmark of our Dhaka division. It is located in Gazipur city of Dhaka division. One of the landmarks of Gazipur is this Gazipur Flyover Bridge. We had to wait for a few years to build this much-awaited bridge.

The construction of this bridge has reduced the suffering of hundreds of people, especially the traffic congestion in the city. I have mastered the guide lines, which are natural lines on the bridge that guide the viewer's eye to the main point of the picture. Here you can see that I have kept the center point in the middle of the bridge as the main point.

Gazipur intersection overbridge 📍

Since it is a big flyover, it would have been better to show the views from above. But the general public was not allowed to go up. I took pictures from different angles under this flyover but focused on the main subject. It is said here that almost all bridges are symmetrical and built evenly. Yes, that is correct.

Symmetry definitely creates a balanced and beautiful impression in the picture of the bridge. That is why I placed my camera right in the middle of the bridge so that the left and right sides look balanced. This Gazipur intersection overbridge is a wonderful example of Bangladeshi architecture.

Perspective is very important in a picture. Thousands of vehicles pass over the Gazipur Chowrasta Over Bridge every day. That is why the structure of this over bridge is made in such a way that vehicles on both sides can connect face to face and pass very easily. Because there is a boundary in the middle of the road.

Every such picture should also include perspective, because perspective is often used to convey the length, height and depth of the bridge. I have placed the camera angle of my phone in a correct position. The front part of this overbridge is completely curved. However, its length can be perceived from top to bottom.

Determining the focal point and main structure of any photo is an important thing. Although we know that bridges are full of lines and elements, for this I must determine a main focal point. I have chosen a memorial pillar as a main exposure point here.

It is a statue of a famous person from Bangladesh. I was standing directly down in the middle of the bridge and focused on the monument in front. Standing in the middle, I determined the main structure which was a memorial pillar. I took pictures from different angles from this point in the middle.

The statue you see here has a lot of history of heroism. Among them, his contribution during the Liberation War of Bangladesh is great. He presented himself to the world for his heroism. That is why his statue has been made and placed in the very center of the city.

Thousands of people going to Dhaka travel on the Gazipur intersection overbridge, and at that time they feel proud of themselves without seeing this statue. This is a wonderful symbol of our Bangladesh. Maybe this overbridge has not been painted yet. But it will look more attractive after it is painted.

Finally, I would like to say that the overbridge that I have presented to you today is the most expensive overbridge in Bangladesh and it is an overbridge that unites three divisions. It can bring together all the people of Dhaka, Mymensingh and Rajshahi divisions. It is an important journey for all the people of the city. A few days ago, I was passing under this overbridge, so I took these photographs.
