“SLC-S29/W5 | How to Photograph Beach / Sea / Reservoir by @max-pro”

in STEEM LENSyesterday

Hello friends, I hope you are all well, by the grace of God, I am also well. Today I came to participate in this SLC-S29/W5 | How to Photograph Beach / Sea / Reservoir contest organized by @walictd.

I went to see a small river near our house where there is a reservoir. However, during the rainy season, more reservoirs can be seen here. Currently, due to winter in Bangladesh, a road has been made by dumping soil in the middle of the river. However, a small culvert has been given in the middle of the road and water travels through the culvert at a very high speed.

Here are some notable moments, one of which is the Golden Hour. Although the Golden Hour is rarely seen in Bangladesh during winter, it is best enjoyed during the rainy season. When I went, it was a winter morning and there was a light mist all around, so the sun could not be seen. However, I could appreciate the speed of the water in the reservoir.

At that time, I took a few pictures by hearing the clear sound of the water flowing on the river. The water was very clear, but the speed of the water was very high. Fishermen on both sides of the river were trying to catch fish by casting nets because the water speed in this river is high, so fish can move. The fishermen in the river were ready to catch fish and were casting nets on both sides.

When water in a river is creating waves at speed

It is a type of river where there is always water but most people enjoy this place in the afternoon. Although this place is a little far from our house, I went and enjoyed this time. The speed of the water in the river was very high, so waves were being formed every now and then. I like to see waves in the river because the sound of the river water is the most special.

This is a branch of the Banshai River, which is one of the Jamuna rivers in Bangladesh. There are rivers on both sides of the road and a clear sky in the background. Every now and then people were passing through the road from their workplaces and I captured those scenes. I kept my camera balanced so that each scene could be captured beautifully.

Since it is a river, there is always water here. However, currently, it is winter in Bangladesh, so the amount of water was a little less. After a few days, during the rainy season, this river will be filled with water and numerous boats will be moving around. Seeing the scene at that time will be the most beautiful. When I travel on this river, I always see a few people who are fishing with longlines.

The feeling of fishing in the longlines is the most special because you have to sit quietly on one side of the river. When the fish swallows the bait in the longlines, the fish are caught by pulling it. Sometimes, fishermen were fishing with longlines in small boats in the river. Big nets were being pulled along the river and the fish were caught. I had cancer for two hundred taka and there was a clear sky behind me.

The most important thing in any beach or reservoir is to show the color of the sky. When I went there, there was fog around, so the color of the sky could not be clearly seen. However, the sky was completely white and had a slight haze. I prefer to avoid filters most of the time, so I capture very natural scenes.

By adjusting the exposure, I managed to put the sky in the background and put the river waves in the foreground. I captured a few pictures from that angle so that the color of the sky was completely natural so that the scenes in front could be captured clearly.

Actually, capturing different scenes from the side of the reservoir is an experience, but when I went, the water was flowing at an excessive speed, so it was not possible to capture much of the scenes of the waves in the water. However, I captured the complete scenes from the side.

On the opposite side of the river, there was a huge mountain of soil. Because there is a brick kiln next to it where bricks are made, all the soil is kept here. However, sometimes this river is dug and sand is extracted and that sand is kept on the side of the road. This river looks very beautiful during the rainy season. I enjoy that moment just before the sun sets.
