Pity they're still not really being rewarded so much :-/

Note for those disappointed by comment rewards: It's probably still better to comment and engage on other people's posts when you're a new user, than to write blog posts. A good blog post takes much longer to write than a thoughtful comment, but is more likely to remain completely unseen if you're don't have any followers. Commenting on other people's posts is the first step towards making people want to follow you, which in turn can lead to developing your blog and following.

It does seem like more and more users have started voting on them though! :) Hope the trend continues!

Even with more people voting them up, due to the R^2 model and being part of the same pool competing for r-shares, comments generally can't compete with posts which have the edge in terms of visibility (and auto-votes). There are also far more comments to vote for.

Linearization may help, we'll see.
