Summary SLCS31-W5 | “My taste My culture” : Home and Heritage.
Greetings to everyone
Hello my steemit friends. It’s been a great and a successful week 5 of our My taste My culture challenge (Home and Heritage).
Thank you once more to the steemit team for this privilege and thank you to everyone who was a part of this week’s challenge.
In this week 5 we had great time to explore and engage with other peoples home and heritage food as we saw that the meals we eat is more than just meals, they are a window to our home and heritage’s culture.
We had different interesting entries exploring the different home and heritage foods that represents other peoples home and heritage and it was a great time of learning and togetherness and actively engaging with other’s food as culture.
All the participants did greatly with their submission. I made a good review and scoring while pointing out the necessary places that needed improvement and giving useful suggestions. The scoring suggestions had led to an improved effort from most of the participants hence better scores.
We had varieties of score for the participants according to the hard work they have put into the challenge. All the participants put in effort into their work and that’s very commendable.
We had Eleven Entries for the week.
We had the lowest score of 9.1 and the highest of 10. Now I present the top 5 participants.

Thank you @alexanderpeace for sharing such a beautiful summary post of this week’s competition. This edition of Home and Heritage, focused on traditional regional foods, was truly enjoyable and meaningful. The way participants presented recipes, stories, and pictures connected to their family traditions and cultural roots was simply wonderful. Learning about the cooking styles of different regions and the memories behind each dish helps strengthen respect and understanding for one another’s culture.
Congratulations to all the participants who beautifully showcased the heritage of their roots through food. The hard work and dedication of the moderator team in organizing and managing the entire event also deserve sincere appreciation. Special congratulations and love to the top participants from me as well.
Now, I am eagerly looking forward to next week’s topic, Unity through Food, where this cultural connection through cuisine will grow even stronger, InshaAllah. 🙂
Thank you for selecting my entry as top post!
Congratulations to all winners of the week!
