01 Which Historical Place Have You Visited? Give Brief Information.

I visited the Language Martyr Abdus Salam Library and Memorial Museum. It is located in our Feni district. It is located in Laxmanpur (present Salam Nagar) village in Daganbhuiyan upazila of Feni district. It is quite large in size. We all know about the Language Movement that took place in 1952. The five people who were martyred during this time are Abul Barkat, Rafiquddin Ahmed, Abdul Jabbar, Abdus Salam and Shafiur Rahman. And one of them is Abdus Salam whose home is in our Feni district. This library and memorial museum has been built in his name. Date: - 26 May 2008 AD. There was a movement demanding that Bengali be made one of the state languages of Pakistan. At that time, these five people and many others were martyred. One of the historical places in our Feni district is this Language Martyr Abdus Salam Library and Memorial Museum. Every February 20th, students from various schools and colleges come to visit this place. Also, people from many places come to visit this place every day.

04 Show Some Real-life Moments From That Place.

I think no one remembers those who gave their lives for the Bengali language in 1952 throughout the year. Most of them are remembered on Ekushey February. Those who died to protect our language should always be remembered. However, after going here, I saw some people who were busy with one task at a time. Some were looking at the pictures of the language martyrs with emotion. Some were reading the writings on the wall and thinking about those days. Some had many questions in their eyes, while others got answers to many questions after coming here. I tried to visit the entire library and museum. And I learned a lot from there. Reading the stories of the sacrifice and bravery of the language martyrs, I felt like I was lost in that time. And a real scene there was the Shaheed Minar. Where we lay flowers in memory of the martyrs. And the Shaheed Minar was built in memory of the martyrs.
