Tilai River

I would like to share a beautiful river with you called Tilai River. This small river is located in Parbatipur, very close to my home. Even though it is not very large, it is quite deep, especially after it was dredged recently. The environment around the river is very peaceful and attractive. I really enjoy spending time there, especially because it feels calm and refreshing.

The river flows near the town and eventually joins the Atrai River. One interesting thing is that the soil here is clay, so the river does not erode much, which keeps it small but stable. Near the river, we have some farmland. Whenever I go to the fields, I always spend some time sitting by the river. In the afternoon, it becomes even more beautiful, especially during autumn when white Kash flowers bloom on both sides, creating a stunning view.

There are also many fish in this river. However, a few days ago, due to polluted water, many fish died, and local fishermen came to catch whatever they could. I once saw a fisherman trying his luck and asked him if he had caught anything. He told me that there were plenty of fish a few days earlier, but now it was much less. There is also a sluice gate beside the river, which helps control the water level. Using a motor, we can lift water from the river to irrigate our rice fields, and this water is rich in natural nutrients, which is very good for farming.

This river holds many memories for me. When I was younger, we used to bathe here every day and spend our afternoons sitting together by the bank. There is also a small bamboo bridge that people use to cross from one side to the other, although it can be a bit risky. During the rainy season, the river fills up with water, and we enjoy swimming there. Especially in autumn, when the Kash flowers bloom and the surroundings look magical, people from nearby areas come to enjoy the beauty. In some places, this river is also known as the Khorkhoria River, but to us, it will always be the Tilai River.

This is my visit of beautiful river in our city. I love this river so much and i love swimming in this river so much.Rainy season is when coming the river more looking beautiful this time.
