A Visit to Federal Medical Centre Keffi

In every state in Nigeria, there is a federal medical centre. In Nasarawa State, the oldest federal medical centre is the Federal Medical Centre in Keffi, Nasarawa State, Nigeria, which I visited. FMC Keffi is the short abbreviation name given to the hospital.

Gynecology Clinic

The hospital is an institution of the federal government and the state's sole tertiary healthcare facility. It was established in 2000, with the sole aim of providing various medical services to patients. The hospital provides a very wide range of services to patients including theatre, radiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, internal medicine, dentistry and a lot more.

Department of Family Medicine

The federal medical centre, Keffi, was recently developed early this year by the federal government of Nigeria and commissioned by the state government. The state-of-the-art multi-speciality complex and other infrastructure at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Keffi are the newly developed infrastructures to strengthen the healthcare services in the northern part of Nigeria.

Waiting Room

The hospital is a very big one, and due to the quality of staff and facilities in the hospital, people from close and far are attracted to the hospital. The hospital is usually filled with people from different parts of Nigeria.

Family Dentistry

As I went to the hospital with my friend, I went to the family dentistry units and observed how my friend's teeth were removed and replaced with new teeth. It is from the dentistry unit that I left the hospital.
