Mama-Bhagne Sweets Store, Basail

This Mama-Bhagne restaurant is popular with everyone, located in the middle of Basail town in Tangail district. It is basically known as a sweet shop because it serves traditional Tangail sweets, but you can also find other desserts here besides sweets. To get here, you have to go from Tangail town to Basail town. The name of the restaurant is mentioned on a huge signboard on the south side of the town.

Let's go inside. I went there in the morning so there were fewer people. But usually there is a lot of people here because the desserts here are very popular. There is a fridge here which you can call a general pantry because all kinds of desserts are arranged inside it. If the desserts are kept outside then if any kind of insect or fly can go on the sweets.

It is very harmful that is why a kind of fridge has been made with glass from the outside which the desserts are kept inside. In front of the nearby fridge there is the restaurant's logo. Behind the restaurant there is a basin where hands and face are washed. Inside the restaurant there are wooden chairs and tables for sitting and eating. There is a dessert measuring machine and box in front of the restaurant.

Since this is a popular event shop in the city, here you can see most of the desserts which are very modern and delicious. The desserts are made by experienced craftsmen here. The desserts are arranged so that all the customers can check and buy.

Most of the desserts here are made with milk powder that is why they are so delicious to eat. Below I have shown the names and pictures of some types of desserts which are the most popular desserts in this city but their prices are affordable for everyone.

All the sweets you see here are made directly in this restaurant. I have heard that people from far and wide come to this restaurant to buy the sweets because they are so delicious that people from other cities know that they like to eat them.

I went with my younger brother for this. From there I tried a small type of sweet which was my first experience of tasting. Although the name of that sweet was Bullet Sweet. However, there were more colorful sweets which were called Hasikhushi Sweet. See some more pictures below.

Since it is a small restaurant but many reasons are given here, people only come here to buy sweets. There is a huge cash counter in front of the restaurant from where you can pay the bill for all the sweets. There is a big list above the payment counter where all the names and Bangladeshi prices are given.

The prices of all the sweets here are kept affordable so that all the customers can buy. The fans and lighting are set up nicely inside. Two employees are always working here and keep the inside clean. There is a fridge in front where drinks and yogurt are kept.

Here you will definitely get a discount if you buy a lot of sweets. All the customers are treated well here and they are treated in such a way that they come back to this sweet shop later. I went there to buy a small amount of sweets and they were happy to honor me.

If you want to buy a large amount of sweets there, then all kinds of sweets will be parceled to you in a box. Any event shop in Bangladesh has such boxes. These boxes are made of paper and the name of the sweet shop is written on them. The size of this box varies.

After observing the whole thing, I realized that this restaurant is a famous restaurant in this city where all kinds of traditional sweets are available. When I was there, there were many customers around me who came from far away to buy such sweets. I invite you all to come to this restaurant and you all should visit this restaurant at least once.
