Beautiful Phuket | Part 7 |Rose Café , The Kor Ra Kang Café
During our vacation, we spent three days in Phuket. I’m going to split our time in Phuket into multiple parts to better cover the wide range of information about the places we visited, modes of transportation, and prices.
In this seventh chapter, I’ll share about the The Rose Café , The Kor Ra Kang Café
Girls, have you ever seen the viral café where the walls of every room are filled with pink roses? 🌸 If you’re lucky enough to visit the beautiful Old Phuket Town, you can easily step into this gorgeous café , The Kor Ra Kang Café.
When you explore Old Phuket Town, this café must definitely be one of your stops. We reached the café by cab from Central Phuket, but we also saw buses coming from Patong and Karon beaches. You can simply get to Old Phuket Town and then use Google Maps to find the location.
Here are a few useful details about the café:
Location: Phuket Old Town | GOOGLE MAP
Address: 11 Thalang Rd, Tambon Talat Yai, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83000
Hours: 9 am – 9 pm
Phone: 085 328 2828
The entrance to the café is a bit hidden, but you’ll notice KorRaKang written in shiny letters at the front, with the entrance painted pink.
You cannot enter the restaurant without placing an order, and you’ll need to order at the entrance.
They serve Thai dishes, cakes, drinks, smoothies, and most importantly, ice cream bowls. Language can be a slight barrier when ordering, but prices are not too high. When we visited, it wasn’t crowded at all, though we learned that Sundays tend to get busier.
As soon as you enter, you’ll see the corridors and ceiling covered with flowers in different shades of pink, instantly making you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale.
On the ground floor, you’ll find several seating areas, the washroom, and even more seating with fairy-tale backdrops, you can feel like Cinderella for a moment!
Near the staircase, there’s also a mermaid backdrop perfect for memorable photos.
We chose to sit upstairs, where every corner was designed for photos. The balcony, which appears in many viral photos of this place is right in front of a large mirror, making it a perfect photo spot.
After a few minutes, our food arrived. Even the food was decorated with flowers. The mixed berry smoothie we ordered was excellent just like in many places in Thailand, it was made without added sugar and tasted really refreshing.
We also ordered ice cream with different flavors, including coconut ice cream for the first time. The portion was quite big and delicious, and the total bill came to only 270 Baht.
We were allowed to freely explore the café and took plenty of beautiful pictures. Luckily, there were very few people when we visited only two or three tables were occupied.
You can easily spend 30 minutes to 1 hour here, depending on how much you eat and how many photos you take. It’s definitely a magical stop for girls who have this Rose Café on their travel bucket list. 🌹
