Formula 1 is Back Again..
Formula 1 races are scheduled all over year round, but you know, the drivers and the team members need a break too. When the championship starts in March, the only official break comes at August as "Summer Break". And now, the summer break is over. It's time to put the foot on the pedal.
Talking about the current standings, it's quite tough between McLaren teammates, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, with 284 and 275 points respectively. The difference is just 9 points. In 3rd, there's Max Verstappen, last year's champion, with almost 100 points behind Piastri. That's how powerful the McLaren car is. No other team was able to come close to it.
In most races out of 15 raced until now, the McLaren duo shared the first two places; Piastri won 6 and Norris won 5. In some races, like the Spanish Grand Prix, McLaren teammates lost their cool, but in the end, they just held tight. Still, it's good to see them friendly, while some team rivalries have never been better in the past.
Talking about today's race, the Dutch Grand Prix will take place in the Netherlands, which Max Verstappen will look forward to ending in high note. The practice sessions and qualifying sessions took place over the last 2 days. Lando Norris was ahead in the practice session, recording the fastest lap ever recorded at Circuit Zandvoort.
But it's all about the Qualifying session, where the pole position is decided. From qualifier 1, the best 15 drivers go to Q2. There, the best 10 go to Q3. Each and every Qualifier, the drivers have to set their best laps again, even the 1st.
Just like most of the other races this year, the first two spots were shared by McLarens, and others were fighting for the 3rd. Not like in practice sessions, this time Oscar Piastri was able to stand out, learning from mistakes, leading all Qualifying sessions, and ending up in pole position by one hundredth of a second. The 3rd spot went to the homeboy Max Verstappen.
So the race will start at 06: 30 PM local time. And I'd like to reveal a secret about how I watch Formula 1. I can't watch it on TV, so I watch a live stream. I'll attach the link below. So enjoy the high-speed menace..
