Ayush's First Step

My dear friends, some incidents in our lives stay in our hearts forever. I recently experienced one such incident. It was Ayush's first step. Even now, my eyes fill with happy tears when I think of that. It was a small step for him, but as a family, it was a big thing for us.

One morning, my daughter-in-law kept him on his mat to play. He was playing with toys, making his usual sweet sounds. As usual, I was near him, watching him with full love. Suddenly, he stood, but it was not a new thing, because in those days, many times he stood alone like this. But that day, something was different. I saw a little bravery in his eyes.

He caught the edge of the sofa and first looked at his mother and then at me. He removed his little fingers one by one, letting go of the sofa. For a moment, he stood without any support, then he slowly moved the first step forward. His legs were shaky, but he managed it well. He didn’t stop, moved another two or three steps forward, and then came to my hands with a brave look.

It was his first step; we both clapped our hands. My daughter-in-law carried him and kissed him again and again. I took him into my hand and thanked him for giving us such a beautiful memory. He couldn’t understand what was happening, but he smiled happily at the attention we shared.

A child’s first step is more than physical movement. It reminds us of his growth and moving forward. He repeatedly attempted to step, and each time we cheered, he found some motivation. When I watched my grandson’s stepping, it reminded me of my two sons’ early ages. Today, my happiness doubled as a grandmother.

Even though Ayush's first move was simple, it had a significant impact on us. Every moment of his life surprised us. He always tries to walk whenever he can now. Earlier, he used to find anything to secure in front of him as he stepped, but now he is also walking in circles. That is how he demonstrates his growth. As a family, we are pleased with his progress. Budu Saranai, mage chuty patiyo.

Yeah! A little hero! And then you look away for a few moments and suddenly he's got his high school diploma in his pocket... Crazy how time flies. Enjoy every moment!

Time goes by so swiftly that I could become a grandmother. As you pointed out, other things will also happen quickly.
Thanks for your continuous support, my friend.

Thank you very much for your support my friend.
