Assalamu Alaikum. Greetings Sri Lankan community. I hope by the grace of Allah, you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am also doing well. I pray to Allah that we are always doing well.

Today I want to share with you the story of a successful person. Moreover, I want to share a writing content about handwork or self-reliance to improve ourselves in our lives.

We all want to improve our own position. To improve our position, we study and certificates play a very important role in our lives. We earn certificates and search for a job. When we get a job, we consider ourselves a successful person.

But it is very difficult to keep it than to get a job. Because I worked in a garment factory for six long years. There can be no more difficult work in the world than working. You have to listen to people all the time and maintain your position and work for people shamelessly. Those who have conscience in their minds can never bring the word of job to their mouth.

However, if we want to improve ourselves, there is only one way open. And that is to learn our own handiwork or become self-reliant.

There are many people among us who have different skills. Some are good at studies, some can do farming well and some can do sewing well.

A person who is good at that work should show interest in that work and be motivated. Because a person cannot acquire all the skills. This creator did not send everyone to the world with all kinds of skills. Therefore, every person has different kinds of creativity inside them and they should be given the opportunity to express it.

Basically, I am writing this blog from the life of a friend of mine. Because he was a very good student in school. Due to financial problems in his family, he moved to Dhaka with his family. After working in Dhaka for a while, he returned home and is trying to improve his life.

Currently, he has prepared himself for making clothes. After working in a garment factory, his interest in sewing has increased a lot. Due to which he has trained as a tailor and has a good idea about how to cut clothes. Currently, he is very experienced in sewing and is considered a trusted institution for sewing every garment in our vicinity. The owner of Rabbi Tailors and Garments makes clothes very honestly.

Basically, we can call this a small entrepreneur. Because he quit his job and moved to his village home. After coming to his village home, he is currently doing a small business. He is sewing clothes and selling seats himself. All the old men and women around the area are giving them enough work and Rabbi is very skilled in sewing.

Learning handicrafts is very important to manage our lives. The more handicrafts we can learn, the better for us. Because there is no better thing in this world than developing our own skills. What else can be successful in this world than being dependent on ourselves instead of depending on others?

So let's do skill development to improve our own condition. We train on the subject we have skills in and focus on that subject. Then we will be able to achieve the desired success in our life, God willing.
