Hello everyone, friends...

It's great that we can meet again. I'll share a story about The Diary Game, I hope my friends like it.

Since waking up at 5:30 a.m. and after performing the morning prayer, my wife and I have been busy preparing supplies for our son, who has returned to the Al-Madinatuddiyah Babussalam Islamic Boarding School in Blang Bladeh, Bireun. As I mentioned earlier, my son returned home from his boarding school over a month ago due to the emergency leave due to the flash floods and landslides that struck almost the entire Aceh Province.

My wife couldn't bear to see her son off without preparing supplies, especially since the current situation at our son's boarding school was still unknown after the flood. In addition to preparing food supplies, my wife also packed clothes, toiletries such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and other necessities he would need during his stay at the boarding school.

While my wife prepared for our son, I opened the doors of my photocopying and stationery shop to serve customers. I've set aside a certain amount of money for our son's monthly living expenses at the boarding school where he's studying religious studies.

Usually, whenever my son returns to his boarding school at the Islamic boarding school where he's studying, I'd take him personally in my private car. But this time, I decided not to drive him there myself because the road conditions were still unstable. In the Kutablang area of Peusangan District, they were still using a makeshift bridge after it collapsed due to the devastating flood. Crossing the makeshift bridge required a long queue for several hours because the only lane was open one way.

Around 4:30 PM, I took my son to the bus stop in Krueng Geukueh. After waiting for almost half an hour, there was no empty seat on any of the buses. All the buses I stopped were already packed with passengers heading to Banda Aceh. I wondered if I would have to wait until nightfall to find an empty bus.

Not long after, a minibus stopped right in front of me. The conductor got out and approached me and offered to tell me that they had a few empty seats. After checking the bus's condition, I asked my son to board it so he could return to his boarding house. I also told my son to inform his family back home when he arrived at his destination so my wife wouldn't worry.

On my way home, I bought some lontong satay, a snack my daughter loves. I asked the satay seller to prepare four packages: two beef satay packages and two chicken satay packages with peanut sauce. I waited a few moments for the satay seller to prepare my order.
