Ganjar Mukti For the Most Western Team Defending Experience in Indonesia

This season Ganjar Mukti gained new experience when defending Persiraja Banda Aceh , the westernmost team as well as the most distant team he has ever defended. Ganjar Mukti joined Persiraja Banda Aceh as a loan player from Arema FC. He was loaned because he did not enter the game scheme that was carried by head coach Mario Gomez. Before anchoring to Persiraja Banda Aceh, the Tangerang player mostly defended clubs from Java, such as Persita Tangerang , Bali United , PS TNI (now Tira Persikabo) and PSIS Semarang . The most distant last team he has ever defended is Bengkulu PS in 2012-2013 ago.

"I never knew where my fortune was. I just worked hard and prayed, the rest of God had a role," he said .

When the 2020 League 1 competition took place, Ganjar Mukti felt comfortable living in Aceh. According to him, the atmosphere in Aceh was not much different from the atmosphere in the cities of other teams he had defended, including the fanaticism of his supporters. However, what makes the difference is the matter of match schedule policies that adjust to the worship schedule.

"In Aceh the atmosphere is very warm from supporters, and the population is more friendly . Only the difference in the match there is only held after evening prayers," said the 25-year-old player.

"For the atmosphere of the city there are more coffee shops and lots of places to sit while chatting with friends," he said.

Unfortunately, this corona pandemic made Ganjar Mukti have to miss Banda Aceh during Ramadan . However, if the League 1 2020 competition continues, he also cannot enjoy Ramadhan in Aceh due to the busy away schedule .

"However, even though the league is still running, Persiraja can be four times away during this Ramadan," he said.
