Arsenal extended their unbeaten league run to 11 matches by winning 2-1 over Bournemouth.
For Bournemouth the loss meant a third successive 2-1 defeat in the league. The Gunners will meet only Liverpool of the “big six” between Gameweeks 16 and 22 . This should attract fantasy managers to invest in Arsenal players over the Christmas period.

Huddersfield Town got their first victory on the road in 2018/19 against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Aaron Mooy scored a brace and has already been transferred in by more than 3,000 FPL managers. One thing you should still notice is that these was his first league goals in almost an entire year.

Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the only goal in Everton’s 1-0 win over Cardiff City. This was his third double-digit haul of the season. For Richarlison‘s owners and for those who captained him there were frustration as the Brazilian blanked.

Glenn Murray and Jamie Vardy was on the scoresheet in the 1-1 draw between Brighton and Leicester. James Maddison (£6.8m), who was back from injury was sent off after only 27 minutes after two yellow cards, the second after simulating in the opponent’s penalty area.

Claudio Ranieri replaced Slavisa Jokanovic as Fulham coach over the international break and it seems like the change of manager had an instant impact on the team. The most important thing for Fantasy managers was the fact that Aleksandar Mitrovic netted a brace.This was the first time he has scored since Gameweek 6.

Manchester City eased past West Ham in a 4-0 win and Leroy Sané with his two goals and on assist (19 points) and Raheem Sterling with his goal and two assists (16 points) were the standout players this gameweek.

Newcastle United continued their fine run of form with a win over Burnley on Monday evening. The win was their third straight Premier League victory and a result that lifts them four points clear of the drop zone. For Fantasy Premier League managers this match was not much of interest with not no player owned by more than 3.3% of FPL managers.

Liverpool continues to put in decent performances. This weekend they won 3-0 away to Watford. Liverpool’s FPL assets delivered points but the question if Salah (13.0m) still are worth the money over Sterling became even more current.

Manchester United - Crystal Palace, 0-0. Both teams had chances to score but in the end a draw was a fair result. For those 280,000+ Fantasy managers who signed Anthony Martial (£7.6m) for Gameweek 13, it was a disappointing result.

Tottenham’s performance in their 3-1 win over Chelsea was the the best performance from any team this weekend and also the strongest performance from Spurs so far this season. On the other hand it was a really disappointing performance from Maurizio Sarri’s men. Chelsea will try to bounce back against a leaky Fulham side in gw 14.

My steem-pick, Richarlison, didn’t register any attacking points against Cardiff. The
average score in gameweek 13 was 50 points while the highest score was 135 points. The highest scoring team “Schurrley Not” used the triple captain chip on Sterling which resulted in 48 points only for Sterling. Other players scoring double figure scores in the team were Sané (19p), Alexander-Arnold (14p) and Mitrovic (13p). The world number one team “LTU” is now on 980 points. This means the Steem Fantasy League leading Team “Meitanteiteam” is about 130 points behind the world leading team. Team “Meitanteiteam” keeps on putting in great scores and is now on place 5070 in the world. The superior team in our league in gameweek 13 was team “Dysand” scoring 93 points. The score meant a big green arrow and place 40 in Steem Fantasy League. Well done!
