I can't confirm it, but also I don't want my story to be in the hive.
The steem inc foundation will check to see if the action is problematic.

I published it on Steem, not Hive. I have no problems with my content staying on Steem. However, given Hive's business practices, I do not wish my name associated with theirs. I would like my content removed from their site(s). Hive is not Steem.
I think there is a tool where you actually can delete all of your posts - Or, at least make them empty. I don't know what the name of this tool is, but maybe you can find it out.
The technical point is, you published it on a Blockchain. Hive is a clone of the Steem Blockchain.
I understand it is a clone. However, I question the legality of cloning everything, including people's original content, under a "new" name, a "new" token, a "new" blockchain.
While I appreciate your advice (thank you), I don't understand why I have to go find a tool to undo what someone else did. It should not have happened in the first place!
But it happened.. Some are happy with it, others are not. I understand that. But your chances for legal action are pretty low as there is no actual person to blame for.

But, there are people to blame for this. Hive didn't appear out of thin air. The content didn't clone itself.
I am sure if people pool their resources this is entirely possible, hence why I was proposing a "class-action suit".
And no, I can't find a way to delete my posts, and since I have no Hive power, I can't do it manually either.
The bottom line is, I do not want any of my content nor my name on Hive. Nothing of mine. I want nothing to do with it. Not after everything that happened.
I will not pair my name with theirs.
You're right. I wonder if lawsuits against people behind HIVE will start. Those who would go after - would most likely win.
Well, if Hive doesn't respond to "cease and desist", it is inevitable that there will be lawsuits. Many(most) of the problems were avoidable.

There is actual person and company which is to be blamed for cloning all content to HIVE and I'm sure @akiroq could win lawsuit against them if he only would bother to start.
Maybe we should start with a lawsuit against exchanges who used user funds to vote for fake witnesses first? @crypto.piotr

Custodial rights of exchanges/financial institutions/banks/etc is definitely something worth examining and to potentially challenge.
Do you know what your assets(or the value of your assets) are being used for?
Do you know what your funds are promoting?
Shouldn't you have a right to know?
I would argue that ethically, you should have a right to know and to potentially disagree.
However, this is a separate issue from using intellectual property to promote a business without the author's consent.
It still doesn't make it "right".
Courts might have time for that at the moment, you know?
