My New Journey As A Minnow On Steemit Blockchain and Tips for New Users

in #steem6 years ago

In March 2018, I began my journey as a new user in Steemit. The first blockchain world I visited. Travel as a plankton full of struggle but at the same time very pleasant. Getting to know Steemit is a gift from God that I am very grateful for.

Through my journey in Steemit, I also began to recognize the vast blockchain world. Steemit also taught me that digital currency is not just about bitcoin which has been known by "common people" as an investment in the digital world. I never thought I could become an investment using digital currencies on the blockchain via Steemit.

Now it doesn't feel I've become "Minnow". I am very grateful that my struggle to collect Steem Power has grown quite significantly. Early in the trip I got an SP delegation from @paulag. The Steem Power delegation was very useful for me, because at the beginning of my adventure in Steemit, I actively commented and made votes so I often ran out of RC (formerly called bandwidth). Without the SP delagation, I can't post.

I also routinely lease SP through Minnowbooster. I admit this is very useful. With this SP, I get more curation, and can get attention from accounts that already have a large SP.

My reputation has also experienced a steady development. My reputation can increase quickly because I regularly post content. In the past, I was able to post 4 times for a day. Now, I can just post 2-3 times using different decentralization application (@esteemapp; @steempress; and @tasteem).

Thank you for all your support, the Steemians, who cannot be mentioned one by one because we are all in Steemit is "one" connected to each other in a world of blockchain that makes a strong community for future progress.

Not only enough to get here, I want to improve my Steem Power to help new users who have quality content but don't get more attention. It's really nice to manually curate, because this requires that I be smart to make a decision to invest in my voting power. If I vote for posts that have the potential to get big rewards, then the value of my curation will be even greater.

Tips for New Users to Succeed in Increasing SP and Collecting Lots of Content

I want to share tips for new users who are still "feeling" difficult to get rewards. These tips are of course based on my experience in Steemit. If you have other tips, you can add them in the comments.

1. Focus On Making Good Content

When we start a trip in Steemit, remember that we only have our ability to create quality content. If you don't have the capital to buy a large SP, then it's enough that you focus on becoming creator content.

You have to move quickly to find the right path. The path I mean is to determine the topic of your content, and through what application you can successfully create rewards.

Now there are so many applications that you can try and adjust to your abilities. But remember, you have to focus on just a few decentralization application. Don't be greedy, or you won't be succeed at all.

You need focus, to get good results.

Focus on topics that you master. I suggest creating content according to your hobby so that you will not have trouble consistently posting every day.

2. Find Communities and Friends that Support Your Content

Once you have content, the struggle for success in Steemit doesn't stop there. You must find friends or find a community that supports you in Steemit. Believe me, you won't stay in Steemit if you are alone. Just like this life, right? Loneliness will not make you more successful. You need a partner or a great community. Remember, find friends and communities that suitable for you. Don't waste your time entering a community that doesn't suit you. It won't be able to help your content produce good rewards.

3. You must have a good comment on the another Steemian's posts so that other accounts know you are in Steemit

Commenting is the best weapon to quickly increase your account. You must have a good comment on the posts of your chosen account.

When you vote for someone's content, especially for large SP holders, that is not enough. You will not be noticed until you comment well or even give opinions about their posts.

Before you comment, make sure you have given a vote on a commented post. This is to respect the owner of the post. It doesn't matter how much you vote, even though it's small but it shows that you have manners in Steemit.

Your comments can get rewards equal to your posts, or even bigger, if you're lucky.

4. Leasing SP

Don't hesitate to lease SP if you want to grow in Steemit. Don't lease too much SP because it will harm you. At least do 200-500 SP leasing, then you can increase it to 1000 SP.

When you have leased the SP, you must diligently use the SP to do the curation. Curating the posts that have the potential to get great rewards will make your curating value even bigger, and so your SP will also develop dynamically.

SP leasing also helps develop fellow communities, not just your own progress. Imagine if a lot of people in the community vote each other, of course there is no loss. Do leasing wisely, and remember, don't lease too much because you have to save your money for your income.

Those are some tips from me to develop your Steemit. When you can develop into bigger fish, you will more easily conquer your trip in the sea of Steemit.

The balance of Leasing and curation or income is very important as a minnow, so true. If the STEEM goes up, this will multiplier the effect of leasing
