RE: Moron's never learn...

Everyone has the power or "right" to make their own decisions. This is one of the great truths in life - understanding that, even if you are imprisoned, you still have the ability to make decisions about how you think and how you will behave.

Simply returning tit-for-tat is certainly a pattern of decision-making that anyone can exercise. However, those decisions produce real results in your life. Look at your "rewards" for this post...
I rest my case.

Which brings me to another great and simple truth in life: Whatever you sow, you will also reap. Once life teaches you this lesson, and you learn it - in your bones - you begin to treat people with more respect and compassion. You won't always agree, but that doesn't mean the only other alternative is to commit some kind of a small abuse, like downvoting them with a greater amount of Steem Power, simply because you can.

Is it more difficult to retaliate, or to display tolerance for others' mistakes towards you? Anyone can seek revenge; it is a natural tendency. It is much harder to suffer insult or harm, then choose to forgive. "Justice" seems right; feels right in some way. However, there are higher ideals worth pursuing than simply seeking to obtain "Justice." Would you give up your "right" to Justice if you could trade it for Peace or Security?
