Reward and punishment why it wont work
When i was in rehab they had this system set out so well.if youre good as in you attend meetings and classes youre treated better by the clinical team and if you didnt well they treated you like a puss bag.most of the guys in denial felt like if they ever got a chance to escape the facility and go for a smoke they definately would .the rehab wasnt doing its job of healing people it was just locking people up just to collect funds from the guys forcing the person to stop intake of drugs .punishment and reward works for dogs and little children but for adults who know what i going on its very degrading
There was a speech on the TED, which explains the wrong approach to drug addicted people.
This guy states, that the key point is socialization, not punishment or restrictions.
