10 Years Here And Still Having Pool Meetings ๐ช๐
10 year anniversary on Hive / Steem and I have been in crypto for over 13 years now. It's crazy to think all that time has passed and I have had several trips down memory lane recently.
One situation was starting up my primary laptop I used from 2013-2018. There were some old wallets on there and no I didn't suddenly trip across a treasure chest of old coins unfortunately. One of the other things that happened was I scrolled through my phone looking for a specific picture and was like wow! I have been a lot of places the last several years.
The reference to the pool meetings goes back to the early days when I would talk about crypto from my swimming pool. I retiled and recoated that at one point and it popped.
It was a lot of work just like most things.
I could take the anniversary post a lot of directions but I'm mainly going to say I have been a lucky man and having my health and mobility. My strength and athletic ability has remained intact this last 10 years which is huge for me. I will post my latest short of me hooping and then I'm going to post some random pictures through the years.

It's honestly been a blast over the last 10+ years. It's easy to be frustrated with various things but the way I look at it is I focus on my mind, my body, and my experiences. If I don't have a penny to my name I could survive off the land. I have my health and that's what's important.
Thank you and I hope to see more 10 Year posts coming up from others! When things hit in those previous bull runs it was so much fun. ๐ช๐

I guess crypto wandered off a long way from its original idealistic path. Just goes to show that crypto/blockchain can solve many problems, but can't "solve" human nature, particularly unchecked greed.
Wonder where we'll be in another 10...
It's been a wild ride for sure and even guys like Dan Larimer don't seem to have anything to do with crypto anymore. He makes videos about religion.
I texted Papa Pepper and sent him the link to the post. He had his 10th kid a few weeks ago and hasn't been on HIVE / Steem for awhile.
For me this has been one of my worst bear markets. Probably as bad as 2015 was in some regards. I can see definitive plays with BTC, LTC, SOL but some projects I don't know how bad they will get pressed out.
I agree that things wandered off from when we first got in.
