Just as @georgeboya pointed out. The voting widget is mainly to determine user price sentiment, which will be reset every 24 hours.

However, there is still a way to support your favorite coin, that is by voting a coin as your favorite.

You'd need to have a free account to do so. Favouriting your coins also lets you track them on the CoinGecko mobile app, definitely try that out!
