Could you live in a Tiny House???

When I am bored which is not very often I like to go on you tube and watch random video's.

I have found myself fascinated, with the growth of tiny homes in America. Many people have now turned to these boxes on wheels which you can buy or build yourself from very cheap to near $100000.

What's good about them??

Well I am glad you asked, yes they are small but buying a ready made one is fully self contained, so you have a full kitchen including fridge freezer, washing machine and sink. A bathroom with toilet sink and shower so you don't have to think about renovations to your property, you just move your small stuff into your small home.
The other thing to think of is from a cost perspective, how much is it where you live to buy a brick and mortar home? Can you afford to pay a mortgage on it? Are you an older person who is thinking of downsizing could a tiny home be right for you?

In my opinion this is something I will very strongly consider when I reach older years, mainly for things like being able to maintain the property, and easy access to things, a smaller space to keep warmer in the winter and is less hot in the summer with hope.

Tumbleweed Tiny Homes

There is a company in the states that is becoming very popular called Tumbleweed Tiny Homes, one of my most favourite models is the Cypress, I love this model because it looks so American and so cosy I am sad that they don't cover europe, the model is well thought out with a seating area, kitchen, bathroom and wonderful big staircase to the loft. (Yes can you believe it, they have second floors too where you can sleep.)

Fy Nyth

There is a young Lady called Ariel who has a fabulous blog called Fy Nyth. Ariel is a young twenty something that lives in the mountains in Wyoming, she has bought a Tiny house purely because she cannot afford to buy another property in the area on her wage.
So in order to stay in the area that she loves she decided to buy a Tiny House which she lives very comfortably all year round. I think I prefer her lifstyle rather than her buying a brick and mortar home.

With an impressive 5700 subscribers, she is really doing a great job sharing her life in her little home. I love watching her videos about her sharing her vegetables and her wonderful garden. I do hope you will look at the links provided and give me your opinions on this.
