Looks like BTS is following that route. Now we've just got to get STEEM to follow along!
And it just might happen.
This week is the key-week...will see what happens.
We finaly have the double bottom and now higher low. 50 MA crossed 200 MA to the upside which should be bullish. We also broke significant resistance and now we are coming back to this thick green line which is now support. If we bounce from this line/support you have drawn, this will be beautiful confirmation of trend change. Hopefully the trend is finaly changing. I’m sure you already went through these bear markets in the past. This is my first time in Steem and overall crypto and being invested at the same time, but I believe this time is no diferent. The best thing that can also happen to Steem is to untether its price from bitcoin. When it happens, Steem can go anywhere.
Double bottom, downward sloping inverse head and shoulder, or rounded bottom, it looks like something fairly important accompanied by increasing, but not exaggeratedly so, volume on the upside, good technicals, etc. Something worth mentioning anyway. Thanks for your contribution - nice summary!

Technically i am not that sound . But i do see the bottom in a naked eye and when volume appeared price spiked (to me thats a confirmation of bottom). Golden cross is psychologically important . Above all i think the fundamentals with steem is pretty strong ( Consensus coming , appics hives are on the card ). And the number 1 blockchain in terms of usage with approx a Bln market cap is just unjust . Cheap it is. Loots of room for upwards .

I am really glad that you liked it.I also think it is the time to be patient & not doing anything foolish.Me & my two friends are trying to buy Crypto as much as possible because we know this downfall is temporary, soon Crypto will rise again & claim his Throne.

Preach! People oftentimes forget that it took over 5 years for BTC to really take off and 10 years for Amazon.com to take off too. It took 20 years for Intel's stock to skyrocket!
Those who stayed the course are now just patiently waiting for another opportunity to snatch up more crypto and I suspect we won't be waiting for double digit years
No doubt that opportunity knocks yet again!
There are many signs telling us the downtrend has finaly ended. Let’s see if that gets confirmed by higher highs and higher lows. I'm definitely bullish on steem, more now that I saw recently that steemit has almost a million accounts and is working perfectly. This a 2x gain from a few months backs that only had 300k accounts. I noticed recently many steemiens I follow are powering down and withdrawing Steem. I think it’s a mistake. Instead buying on the way down they sell. I’m a huge believer in Steemit platform. Let’s hope this nice bounce is permanent. And if not, that’s fine, we just have to be patient.
I've been powering down a bit, but not because I'm negative on STEEM, rather because I need to balance my portfolio a bit more - got a bit too much in both STEEM and BTS and, with the charts of those I'm buying looking very much the same, it's really a wash deal as I move out of one and into the other. Still fully invested though, just more diversified.
It makes sense in your case. Diversity is very, if not most important when it comes to investment. Afterall you deserve to take a bite of this amazing Steem pie 🥧. I’m not at that point just yet. This chart, if confirmed, is showing as great times ahead.
Diversification and best practice portfolio management is the name of the game.

Love this chart. 20MA is about to cross the 50MA. And I also love the way we are sitting above 200MA. It’s a beautiful set up. If that is not changed of trend that I don’t know what possibly could. And I agree with you and @rothberg, diversified portfolio is recipe for success.
Hello, @cryptographic; next to BTS and Steem, what other projects are you diversifying in if I may ask? Do you still believe in Sys and ADA?
I still believe in SYS and ADA. I've taken a full position in ADA, and started nibbling in SYS. I also like ARK and PIVX and am building positions in both - just starting with ARK and fairly well along with PIVX. Those are my big position plays for the moment and I'm keeping a small amount aside for more shorter term trading of more speculative assets from time to time.

Steem power still get interest payments for holding steem power and help in adding value to the steem ecosystem-a win win for all. How do you acquire steem power? The easiest way is to buy steem and power up (if you have the money) and or blog smart on steemit , earn steem and power up your steem ( you can always power down some steem if you need the money ).
Patience: Patience is a great virtue to have if you want to succeed in life. Therefore, focus on the fun part of this great platform ( not trending and hot pages) , take out time , learn the way things are done here and build your followers through prudent commenting and engaging with steemit communities (avoid follow for follow or vote for vote scams), joining challenges and asking successful people questions. After building a good followers on steemit , then you start blogging on the topics you are good at (use relevant tages-5 max) . All these might take few weeks or months- however the good thing is that you will surely reach the promise land if you try.
Than persistence - fortitude - serenity make us happy :)
Very good advice on how to approach becoming part of the Steemit community, and some ways to make it the most profitable that you can as well as being the most satisfying.
If you give me a welcome back after not posting for just a week or so, I've got a feeling that you might be saying the same thing repeatedly in the near future: I'm extremely busy and will be so for the next 2-3 months. I'm still "mining" my STEEM though, by commenting and doing more of a "curating" thing now since I reward what I read, and then post a comment that hopefully adds value. I have to find 5 "worthy" posts a day to reward and comment on in order to "distribute" the 20% of daily SP rewards I have. It takes me at least 30 minutes, but I kill two birds with one stone since I am also doing my best to stay in touch at the same time!

Being patient and having confidence is the only way to go if you are to have a good time and make a return on your investments. The great thing about Steemit is that it is so engaging that many days I don’t even notice the price of Steem... It’s the ultimate distraction! Now the price is going up, I’m sure many will jump on the train, and have more confidence in Steem and Steemit.
That certainly is one of the great things about STEEM - you can be invested in the best cryptocurrency in existence and be productive with blogging and social networking at the same time!
