Steem's Holding Steady...
It sure is nice to see Steem holding steady above the $0.15 mark.
I haven't been keen this last 2 weeks as much as I have been before because of travels and all, but I am now in a more settled space and I can start to pay so much more attention to Steem and the space in general. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised to see Steem sitting pretty for a lot of days now. That would only mean the pump we experienced was actually real and without manipulation. Perhaps on the next bull-run we can find our stability above the $0.30 no? This way, we can gradually return Steem to what was once it's glory.
At the beginning of the pump, I heard praises of the Koreans jumping in on Steem for some reason.
Not sure if that is still holding, but if it is, I guess we know where our most viable market/clientele/user base is at.
This just makes me want to hop on that marketing wagon and create region specific marketing content/campaigns to reach more of the Korean community. I imagine word spread like fire out there given the number of un-known dapps I have come across with so many Korean users. I often wonder what Steem would be like if the right group of people discovered it.
All in all, no matter the outcome of this blockchain, I think most of the people I know are willing to ride it out and see the outcome. I am certainly not going anywhere, at least not any time soon :)

Koreans were jumping onto Steem because of Splinterlands I think. They love that they can make money playing card games.
Wouldn't it be easier to make a local Steem community?
I have just come home from an Adelaide Steem Meet Up and there were 13 people there. We have a really good group where we can trust each other and talk about Steem related things. We meet on the last Thursday of the month at a pub in the CBD. Tonight we had pizza too.
I will write about this in my next blog post.
Nice concept, I've always wanted to attend one of those. What are the meet ups like? Do you talk all seious or is it casual?
It’s all casual. Initially we used to have name badges and play games for prizes, but now we know each other it’s all casual.
It’s like if you met your friends at the pub and talked about Steem and everything relating to Steem.
Last night they ordered a lot of pizzas and we talked about downvoting, bots, Splinterlands, and all things Steem related. It’s a lot of fun if you get the right atmosphere happening.
Yeah, sounds like fun. You get to kearn a thing or two about the platform as well. Lord knows there's plentt, esoecially the techy aspect that I don't know about
I am always learning something. Did you know that there are people who active reward those who are focused on engagement?
You could always start your own meeting. It might be difficult at first, but I am sure here are people in your local area that use Steem but are reluctant to admit to it.
I'll give it a shot then. No harm in trying.
You might end up meeting some cool new friends.
Asians seem to like steem a lot. They've created a shit ton of replicas over the years.
