Right. It's not so much STEEM, or crypto, it's the whole idea of decentralization and freedom. Unless that's what prompts armageddon in some way—the forces of centralization and subjugation marching against the rest—I think we're set right now to keep getting worse and worse, before we start fighting over resources (literally, rather than figuratively).
So, I'm not sure how it all comes to be, obviously, I'm just thinking that people living out their days in peace while the whole world melts around them isn't exactly in the cards. :) Not everyone will perish, but that doesn't mean they will be safe and secure and free of pain or suffering for loved ones lost, or a shattered world.
